ACDelco GM Original Equipment 84518407 Camera Washer Fluid Pump, 4.4 in

2016 GMC Sierra with 36,600k miles. Wouldn't have thought the washer pump would have gone bad that quick but it did. "Replacement part worked perfect." All the videos I watched didn't show removing the front wheel, makes things easier if you do. IMO, I took my time and it ended up taking about 1.5 hours. Not a bad job.

After you get everything removed, the part is super easy to install. I do wish the part came with the rubber grommet (I think that is what they are called) but we were able to reuse our OEM one. We installed this on our 2016 Silverado. Couldn't believe that the original part went out on a vehicle with only 30k miles but after doing a little research, this seems to be pretty common. Not sure why but glad the part was only $20! The entire installation took about an hour. It was a pain, especially around the wheel well because there were so many screw rivets (??) to remove just to access the bottom of the reservoir but not that difficult. Overall, product worked like expected. Cannot attest to longevity but will update if it goes out early (and I remember).

I only wanted to do this job one time and I'm very glad that I went GM. Works great again!

It's GM original part but doesn't come with a grommet. Reused old grommet from the old pump.

Swapped out in a few hours (it did take removing the front which included two tricky screws. New pump replaced old (motor had severely rusted leaving gunk in tank and lines) and works perfectly.

Installed myself, works like a champ

I had a small/medium pool of washer fluid under my car below washer tank and thought tank had a leak. I replaced this item first after some online research indicated they can leak when internal o-ring goes bad. Windshield washer leak now gone on my 2017 GMC Acadia!.
