And while some features remain unchanged – thick paper eagerly awaiting the stroke of a pen, silk ribbon to keep a page mark, cardboard envelope to catch flyaway notes and mementos – others are entirely up to you to decide. Will the layout be ruled, dotted, squared, or blank? Which size will you go for? And how classic will your palette be: black, sapphire blue, scarlet red, or will you dazzle your friends and colleagues with a more adventurous hue? The Moleskine notebook is the heir to the legendary notebook used by great artists and thinkers such as Van Gogh, Picasso, Hemingway, and Chatwin over the past two centuries. Today, it is a pop culture icon, a space for inspiration, ideas, and projects. (M.
