Easy assembly and setup (5-10 mins)
Fits a 29'er mountain bike (XL size 21 frame) with disc brakes and quick release on the back wheel without issue. Easy assembly and setup (5-10 mins).Works great! Very sturdy and robust design (I'm 6'2" 250-lbs).If there is a knock on this item, it is that it is indeed very loud (think vacuum cleaner sound levels). However, I am using knobby mountain bike tires on it, so this is not unexpected. The sound can be remedied by using a smoother road tire (just like mud tires are louder than road tires on a truck driving down the road). However, instead of the extra expense of buying and changing bike tires seasonally, I just turn up the volume on the TV instead.Mine was actually delivered with a broken bracket, so I contacted customer service and they sent out a replacement bracket immediately. Exemplary Customer Service!Very happy with this product!

Good indoor trainer for a 29’er Mountain Bike.
Ordered this for my husband to use with his Specialized 29’er Mt. Bike, it fits which was a struggle to find an indoor trainer that would fit a 29’er. He likes it. Say’s it’s good quality and gets the job done at a reasonable price. So far so good. I’ll update if his feelings about this product changes. But as of now we’d recommend it.

I own two (one with and the other without the adjustable magnetic resistance) of these and they work great with bikes that have their own gear system in order to shift resistance. The adjustable magnetic system doesn't seem to change the resistance at all. Don't waste your money, get the cheaper version. Also, I used my 29" mountain bike in my office and left a black streak of tire rubber on the carpet. I added a strap to prevent the unit from opening quite as wide thereby lifting the tire. These are incredibly stable and they do not feel cheap. They quick release for easy in and out of the bike for road use. The initial setup may be difficult for anyone not handy and familiar with the mechanical workings of a bicycle. The provided axle slipped easily into my high-end mountain bike. Do not bother attempting to use the supplied axle on cheap (Walmart version) bikes. That adventure left me chasing loose bearings and putting the original axle back in place. The AccelaVelo had to be adjusted to the maximum extension to make the Walmart bike work but it is still stable and works very well even though I am using the 'cheap' axle system.

Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. Wish that the it could have multiple ranges of tension. This one is preset and not adjustable

The product itself is excellent so far but what I really appreciated was J & R's customer service. There was a plastic part (for adjusting the flywheel to the bike wheel) broken in transit when I first ordered it. I took pictures and emailed the company; within 24 hours, they shipped out the exact part which I was able to install myself. All is working right now and I am very happy. Good product; great customer service.

Waste of money
This is now a closet weight. It provides minimal nonreal resistance. I'd rather just be outside riding.

Fast setup and time to spin
Works good, super easy with no assembly required. My bike doesn't have a quick release but I removed the end acorn cap on their adapter to fit over the end of my axle. I have a 26" wheel beach cruiser weighing about 45lbs, I weigh about 155, and the trainer holds firm and strong. My floor is also uneven but no stability problems.

I was pretty sceptical after reading that
This is the only indoor bike trainer that advertised it would fit a 29" tire. The product sheet that it shipped with said 27"-28" or 700C wheels. I was pretty sceptical after reading that. Well my 29" Genesis V2900 fit just fine. The trainer came with a replacement shaft if you have a quick disconnect wheel, which I do not and the majority of low end bikes probably don't either. The magnetic resistance works great and you can just shift gears to increase pedaling resistance, so I'm pleased with my purchase. As others have noted, with knobby mountain bike tires, it is a little noisy and I can expect to see increased tire wear, but so what. I can get the exercise I need not matter the weather!
