Great value, accurate, easy to read, 1 flaw
I bought the cheapest model of the ones being offered. This means, yes it is made of plastic. It feels sturdy for the size and provides consistent repeatable measurements. For the price, I wasn't expecting a top of the line caliper. There is one "feature" that I do find annoying though. If you take a measurement, and you sit it down for a while, it will turn off to save the battery. Let's say the measurement was 1.68 inches. Then when you turn it back on, the caliper doesn't remember what the measurement was, so now the caliper reads 0.00 inches. This is because the caliper zero's itself every time you turn it on. Granted in this scenario, I just close the caliper and it will then read -1.68 inches and you get your measurement back. It isn't the end of the world, but I really wish it remembered where it was at when it turned off. That is the reason for only 4 stars. Other than that, it is easy to read, the buttons are all easy to push, and it does remember what unit of measure you have selected. For the price I find it to be a great value, although to me not remembering the measurement is something that would have caused me to think a lot harder about purchasing this unit.

Plastic caliper at a good value
This is a good caliper for the money. Like most in this price range, it uses hard plastic for its jaws - not ideal if you are measuring a lot of metal along a sharp edge, but good for most purposes. It does have "IP54" molded on to the plastic of the battery cover, which you would hope to indicate that it is splash resistant, but devoid of context it could be claimed to be a model number. The specifications on the carton say "Influence of humidity: Up to 80% non-condensing" and Operating Temperature: 0 deg Celsius to 40 deg Celsius. They are offering a Blade Master Feeler Gauge (worth $10-$15) for a "1 to 5 stars" review to "random customers" (so not explicitly asking for good reviews, though a bias to please has been identified as a phenomena for these sorts of programs).Update 2018-03-23:They did provide very prompt and fluent response to my email to get the Feeler Gauge, which makes me feel good about any future support needs:"...The jaw of this digital caliper is made by hard plastic with high quality. If you have a really high requirement on the jaw of a digital caliper, we will recommend our high-end digital caliper which is all made by metal. Please see below:https://www.amazon.com/Digital-Caliper-Waterproof-Measurement-Resolution/dp/B07D4FHY8NAlso, about "but devoid of context it could be claimed to be a model number". The IP54 on the digital caliper is the Ingress Protection Grade 54 which means dust protected and waterproof. What’s more, about the influence of humidity, this digital caliper can work perfectly under 80% of relative humidity. But if the relative humidity is above 80%, the humidity might affect the accuracy. This is because the droplets of moisture will have an influence on this kind of high precision instrument...."

This is plastic calipers!
The pictures show calipers with jaws that are ground... they look to be stainless. When the calipers arrived, they were plastic! Also, the pictures show resolution (in inches) of 0.000 and a little '5' to right of the display, so figured it would read at least to nearest thousandths... nope. The calipers that came read 0.00 inches, missing a decimal place compared to their product pictures.

Caliper works as expected
The caliper arrived on time and packaging was minimal and easy to open. I'm a little confused because it says stainless steel but it's all plastic. For my purposes it doesn't matter either way but I would prefer a stainless steel to avoid pressing into the plastic when measuring an object. The plastic can have a small amount of flex but for my purposes it doesn't matter. Overall great product for the price.

Very accurate but doesn't do fractions.
I bought this caliper because it said that it would give readings and decimal inches, millimeters, and fractions of inches. Unfortunately it did not give fractions of inches which I wanted as I was going to use it in woodworking. However, and comparing it with other calipers that I have and some blocks and spacer bars, I found that the calipers were very easy to use and very accurate. I just wish they did fractions of inches too.

Excellent quality and functions exceptionally well.
I recently received and have been using the Dijite Digital Caliper. I am very pleased with this caliper. Easy to use, light weight, functions well, and I like that the dial light can be turned off when through using the caliper. I highly recommend this quality product.

Not good
I expect this to be waterproof on the second used was broken and didnt read. Maybe thats why is so cheap. Anyways I dont recommend it if you work in humid or with some water. I never summit the tool to extreme conditions nor deep it under water and still after the second used was broken.

Great Product And Good Price
I have always needed a "measuring tool" to measure rods and such in MM or Inches. Finally made the leap and found this product to be a great value and a tool everyone should have in their tool box.
