## Description

The IRWINQUICK-GRIPOne-Handed Bar Clamp, Medium-Duty, provides up to 300 lbs. of sustained clamping force evenly distributed across removable swivel jaws. It is constructed with an I-beam bar to reduce flexing and bowing, non-marring pads that protect workpieces and can be removed quickly, and a unique pistol grip design with a Quick-Release() trigger for one-handed operation. This clamp easily converts to a spreader with a few simple turns of the quick-change button.

Review: Love these clamps - These are a great clamp, they are well built, strong and easy to use one handed, and you can get a fair amount of pressure out of them. Not as much as a steel sash clamp but respectable none the less. It would be nice if they came with an additional set of rubber feet but that is me being picky. They are a slightly different design than my previous clamps but those are around 10 years old and haven’t failed me yet. I have tried other brands in that time but none have lasted so these are good value for money over that time period.

**Q: Why is there no drawing showing where the 6 inches is measured? ditto for all sizes? how can the smallest dimesion be several inches?**
A: A 6-inch clamp will hold an object in its jaws a maximum of 6-inches in size; a 12-inch clamp will hold something twice as big—12-inches, ansd so on. This style of clamp is the greatest: one-hand is all that's needed to tighten or loosen the clamp, unlike a c-clamp which requires at least two hands to work and takes a long time and effort to clamp something.

**Q: What does clamp capacity mean? It's listed as 6" to 36" for this clamp. Is 36" or 3 ft. the range of travel?**
A: A six-inch clamp of any type means you can put a six-inch object between its jaws (actual maximum opening would be 6-1/6" to 6-1/4 "); 36" clamp would fit 36" between its jaws.

These are a great clamp, they are well built, strong and easy to use one handed, and you can get a fair amount of pressure out of them.
