Wellograph watch High price limited features
Normally anything tech I am super excited about, however this watch has me luke warm at best. I purchased this about a month ago and waited eagerly for amazon prime to deliver it to my door. As I have been following this devices for a while I waited till the 2.0 firmware update to release for Windows Phone 8.1. I do think the app is nice a little buggy at time but rather nice compared to the first version. As for the update the firmware gave the watch include, sleep tracking, pulse error fixing, and greater accuracy in step counting. What I would have like to see added, email notifications and SMS notifications e.g. the ability to read text based messages.Onto the watch physical hardware, the screen is the best feature being that it almost won’t scratch, so I can work on my car, house and computers without scratching a cheap plastic screen. I did test the water proofing and went swimming the other day in a 15 foot pool, although the watch worked well in water and did not short the band had some issues, as it is a leather band. The band did not dry fast even when near a heat lamp (2 hours) which makes me not want to ever get it wet in the rain! I would purchase a “fit band” style band but at 49 dollars for a watch that already cost $299 I feel is over kill. The face of the watch is rather small compared to the bezel of the watch. The thickness of the watch shows people this is NOT a regular watch it is a tech gadget and does feel heavy compared to other watches on the market. I like the larger size as it looks more natural on my wrist and others I’ve seen wearing this devices. The internal software on the watch functions as describes and does do a good job in the “FIT” category. I can track my nightly sleep, resting heart rate and active heart rate, view fairly accurately how many steps I have taken today and set a run timer/meter. In the fit style these features are wonderful. The way it links to your phone is a bit clunky at times and syncing does NOT always work as it is supposed to. However when it does sync with your phone via Bluetooth 4.0 the data outputs rather quickly to the app.The app on windows phone is the ONLY one I’ve tested so far I will try on my old GS3 tonight and update. The windows app displays Activity, heart rate and sessions, each category is self-explanatory. When this watch syncs with this apps it will track your progress over a day week and month, if you are not getting up and moving it will show a heart notification that is barely filled on the app and watch itself. To charge the watch weekly you have a supplied dock that plugs in via usb to a well or car. This dock does work well but it can be tricky getting the watch magnets to touch just right to make charging contact otherwise no complaints. While the watch charges you can view the watch its self displayed vertically for easy viewing .All and all this is a great fit watch that looks and functions like a real watch, but not great for the price tag. I would not recommend this to someone unless they paid between 80-160 for the watch, then this would be a fantastic buy.Side note:Do not purchase this thinking it will do everything that the Microsoft Band does, if you want one of those Best Buy retailer and prob Amazon will be stocking those April 2015 for 199. However compared to this device that watch looks cheap, but functions a bit more fluently as it has a touch screen and swipe ability. The Pebble is also in work for MS right now and does almost the same stuff this does with slightly lower price tag. Again the Price point on this is the MAIN issue I have but at the time it was the ONLY real solution for Windows Phone users.

An absolute bad buy. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
updateNegotiate on for a month with the manufacturers in Thailand. Now it wants to give me a watch replacement. For this, I need but my old watch sending costs to mine.Easy shipping 25 USD enrolled 70 USD.All this in the warranty period.Absolutely no purchase recommendation.I will throw the watch into the garbage, to forget the purchase as soon as possible.-5 *------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And now two weeks the clock continues dissolves. The LEDs that are glued at the back with a kind of silicon dissolve.Sitting Sleeping is no longer detected the pulse more or less. For weeks, no reply to emails.Ought 0 * or even * awarded negative. An absolute bad buy.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Old Reviews partI have you now for about 4 months in use, I had ordered it. Via Amazon USAOrder Shipping etc. It all worked out smoothly in 14 days, the clock there. Now the clock:'Optical: 4 * presentation I really like the leather strap that sapphirecrystal all very noble really nice (my personal opinion taste is well known, different).'Display size: 2 * Looks huge but has a huge black border, a real shame not to the entire surface uses is available.'Display readability: 4 * absolute super to read in the sun also at night with the lighting.'Battery: 3 * keeps me on average 3 - 4 days and I do not play much with the clock 1 time per day synchronize a few times on the light pulse 1-2 times does not correspond to the manufacturer's instructions of 7 days.'Manufacturer Support: 0 * 0 why? 0 absolutely no answers to emails etc. The firmware been played totally outdated I guess the first one there. New software and firmware play a game of patience demolition again etc. After 2 hours, finally running everything on. After about 2 weeks of operation, the clock depends completely on there is nothing in the manual to find anything on mail no answer, then after 2 days looking for a solution to the last hardware reset found. Since 2 weeks not Sleep tracking more simply displays 0 hours sleep. In emails to the support address of manufacturer once again no answer.'Total: 2 * why due to bad support therefore would no longer buy the clock.

Complicated to set time
Nice looking watch. I get a lot of complements. Mine does not keep accurate time and the heart rate monitor is not very accurate either. I mostly just use it as a watch. I have had mine for 2 years and the crystal face is delaminating from the watch. The software is NOT user friendly. Just changing the time is difficult and requires going through numerous sub-menus. I think I will upgrade to an apple.

Not nearly as good as advertised
Bought this watch for my gf for xmas. It seemed like it was the best you could get. It was not very user friendly. The scrolling is annoying and apart from having its "sapphire " case it proved to big a huge pos. The heart rate monitor never ever was even close to accurate, the steps are not even ridiculously close to actual figures either. I read that you can wear it in the pool but you can't push the buttons as water may go inside. After she did a 45 min spin class and then later the same day she did a 45 min boot camp the cardio only said 3 mins!! 3 wth...This item was returned 2 weeks after much disappointment. She even sent Wellograph an email because she thought that it was something she was doing wrong. They took far too long to reply and it had already been returned back to Amazon. Basically they told her they were working on updates etc. She also complained about it on their Facebook page..which I believe is still up there. We ended up buying the Basis Peak. So far after one week it is the best thing going! Far better than the Wellograph! Even the ipod app is amazing!Do yourself a favor and seriously Google all the reviews about this Wellograph...and you will see that it sucks! Derek
