X670130 Fireback Supports , Black

I bought these to hold the cast iron back plate for my fireplace firebox.Since it is still summer, I am have no idea about heat output, but they are very thick and heavy!They fit the back plate great and if you read my review of the black plate, I thank you!Be careful, I did crack my finger setting them down. They are very heavy!Hmmmm.... I bet they would be great for cracking open walnuts or coconuts!

Heavy. Well made. Hold fireback securely. I returned because they elevated my fireback too much. I decided to rest my fireback on the floor of the fireplace and leaned against the back. A matter of taste

I am quite happy with these feet. They pitch my fireback forward, which helps direct the heat into the living space. They are nice and heavy and I am sure will last a lifetime and more. You can't go wrong with these.

I bought this fireback for the fireback, made by the same company, to keep it straight, parallel to the wall. It does not! The insert gap is about 1 1/4 inch wide which leaves 3/4 inches gap after putting the fireback.As a result, the top is about 9" away from the brick wall.To fix this problem, I insert a piece of 3/4 " into the gap.The holder seems well made and substantial.

Reason the fire back off the floor makes the fire back look a lot better.Also, since the fire back is not sitting on the ground, it is much easier to clean all of the ashes out since they don’t get behind the fire back.One of the feet of the support stuck out a little too far, so I used an angle grinder and cut it off. Works just fine.

These feet are perfect to hold our fireback in place. Its the perfect height. I'm not sure if you can see them below our iron grate, but look in between and you can view them since they're still pretty black. We also bought a used one and saved money because frankly who's going to see them!

I used this with my Minuteman International American Eagle fireback. It fit and worked well. The only option is for the fire back to stand up straight or lean slightly backwards against the brick wall of the fireplace.This was nice at elevating the fireback to fit better with my UBACKS 27” grate.

Very well built and may serve many people well but you either lean the fireback way back or way forward; impracticle and therefore not as useful as an adjustable one.
