It is the best because of the G-Shock, solar power and the bluetooth connection, that makes it a really special one. It is bigger than I expected, but now I like that it is big. It is light and good looking. I have recieved great compliments, but what I really care about is that I can wear it at work, where I have to use my arms a lot and I'm not scared of breaking my Casio because I know it is resistent to any condition. I really like it.

**Q: What exactly does the app do for the watch besides set the time?**
A: The app primarily syncs the time to your phone but also offers a secondary time zone for travelers as well as alarm and timer but obviously your phone already has those features. The only other thing the app has is the guide that is the instructions for use document. So essentially you are correct, the app mostly is making sure time is exact by syncing with your phone but even so you have to push the red button to update it for daylight saving time changes.

A: This is a solar power watch, if left in a drawer for example it should have power reserve lasting that long without exposure to light

This is an amazing watch. I have liked Casio always but I haven't had one since I was a child (25 years ago).
