From the manufacturer About Us Johnson’s started life in 1921 as Johnson Brothers, Poultry Specialists; manufacturing products aimed at the poultry breeding market. Johnson’s expanded its product range to cater for both the popular cage bird and fledgling pet care market for dogs and cats. In the late 50’s Johnson’s moved to a purpose built manufacturing and distribution centre in West Midlands, still its present home. **Q: I have a white/cream puppy - has this worked for anyone?**
A: No. I wouldnt recommend this product. I didnt work well at all on my dogs. Try baking soda and warm water.

**Q: What ingredients does this product contain please?**
A: Hi, I am sorry: on my bottle there is no list of ingredients; I can say I used it on my Cavalier King Charles, and it worked well. Best regards

**Q: I meant tear stains do not wipe off should I be seeing something on the cotton wool? How does it work?**
A: Vet's Best eye cleansing wipes are far better. Really do fix tear stains if you use them daily

**Q: I can’t see any treat staining on the cotton pad when I wipe it? How does it actually work?**
A: If the staining is already there you need to trim around the eyes very carefully with a dog trimming scissors which has blunt ends, get rid of as much staining as possible then use diamond eyes to keep it under control. I have 2 white Maltese, the one has no staining at all but the other is bad, I keep her fur round her eyes as short as possible but I can only keep the staining down I can't get rid of it all together and you're right there's nothing on the pad. I also find with her if I use a water based wet wipe first it removes quite a bit and you will see red on the wet wipe. Bella has staining all around her mouth too but all I can do with her is keep the staining down so its pinky, I've never been able to get rid of it entirely.

The bottle arrived within 24 hours and was safely packaged. We have used this before and it does minimise the tear stains. It does not do the job completely, but we have yet to find one that does. It is reasonably priced and does the job, up to a point, hence only 4*.
