Delicious!
Very tasty, crunchy & fresh! Great ameretto taste! Just as I remember from childhood! As a child I remember crushing them & sprinkling it over vanilla ice cream or eating them with a glass of milk! Taste is not weak but not too strong it’s perfect, made in Italy & Makes for a great gift!

The real deal at a reasonable price
Amarettis are the heroin of cookies and these are the best I've ever eaten. Beyond addictive I wolfed down the whole six bags in two days. Crunchy, almond flavored Nirvana! The price is highish like what you'd pay in a specialty store or high end market but since I have Prime the price includes shipping and handling and Amazon does a great job with fragile food. There were no crushed or broken cookies. Sometimes you can find these at discount places for a third the price but its not reliable. When you must have your Amaretti fix, this is the way to go.

Amazing Almond Flavor Amaretti, just like you get in Rome
Earlier this year, we bought amaretti cookies from a grocery store in Rome and these are nearly identical. The cookies are small, light, crispy and have a delicious almond/amaretto flavor that's very addictive. If I'm not careful can eat a whole package without trying!

My favorite cookie!
These crispy little Amaretti cookies are perfect with coffee or afternoon tea. They are a traditional regional Italian recipe made from eggs whites and crushed apricot kernels. Sounds odd, yes, but they taste like almond cookies. You will think they are almond cookies until you read the ingredient list. They are dry and crispy and store well in a sealed cookie jar. Personally, I would prefer them a tiny bit less sweet, but they have become a cherished staple. I used to find them at a tiny import store that is no longer. My grocery store only has them sporadically, so I was thrilled with the Amazon availability. FYI, having researched it elsewhere, the apricot kernels for cookies come from a special paste that is quite safe. That does not mean they aren't addictive!

Not terrible, not really good; won’t buy again
Tried these because I’m a big fan of the name brand amaretti that come in the Red Tin — which are expensive enough that I only buy them a couple times a year.So —These amaretti: dominantly sugary, mealy-crumbly texture, not much of the distinctive apricot-kernel flavor. Overall, somewhere between “meh” and “no”.Big Red Tin amaretti: dominant flavor is apricot kernels, texture is coarser and crisp/crunchy.All around, just really nicer. BUT… way more expensive.Amaretti are intended to be a treat. Name brand is. These aren’t. A case where you really do get what what you pay for.

Wrong packaging description.
The invoice states. 7 oz package 5 packs each. Customer service replaced the order still I received only one package each time. Just be aware of this. One pack of 7 oz is not worth the price. I did get refund. But would not buy again. Or recommend this item because of false description.

Great Value!
These are NOT Lazzaroni Amaretti di Saronno, but they are an amazingly good substitute at a fraction of the price! They are about the same size; crisp, airy, with that wonderful flavor of Amaretto. If money is no object, by all means, Laz is king. But, if you yearn for that taste of Italy along with some budgetary constraints, then give these a try. I think you'll be pleased. :)
