This is a great gift and it works very well

The tool kit is awesome! Works great for my shop needs. It comes with cross and ball pein hammers, sledge, mallet, 3 files, and safety glasses. Everything comes in a very robust plastic case that can certainly withstand being dropped or even thrown (not that I would do that!). It is a complete kit for metalworking! I also like that the company (Grant Tools) supports a charity – Extend the Day. Included in the kit was a thank you note, that said they donate a solar light to a child in need in a 3rd world country, what a great cause!

Nice set of blacksmithing tools for the beginner these are bought as a gift for an inspiring blacksmithor.

Heavy and very well made. I cannot wait to see my grandsons face this Christmas.

For it to be a "blacksmith tool kit", it can't take a hit. When I received these tools, the handle on them worried me, it's a hard plastic handle and it looks like it has been sealed on the head of the hammer with some kind of acrilic resin adhesive, terribly easy to crack. I lost my first hammer due to a break in the handle in the head of the hammer, while using it The head flew off and I had to cover my head and move or I would have been hit. The second hammer handle came right out of the head with no force whatsoever. I've tried to find a way to contact someone but cannot find a website, email address, phone number or anything. I do not recommend this kit. It was a terrible buy for me, and it will be a terrible buy for you. Go to Lowe's and get a good hammer if you're just starting out.

Better than I expected for the price.

Bought for my husband. He loves the sturdiness and durability. I love that everything came in a case for easy storage.
