The media could not be loaded.  We are so glad to have this dimmable, rechargeable, battery-powered lantern with different settings; light, medium, bright, and strobe, as well as being able to dim even further, manually. Love that it is so flexible and especially how bright it goes when you really need to see well. It is lightweight and very easy to use and carry. The batteries last for a long time and the lights are LED, to be long-lasting as well. Nice bonus that it can attach and hang from above. This lantern has everything we need. We will keep it in mind for future gift-giving. Oh, bonus is that we can recharge our cell phones with it, if necessary!

I love this lantern. I live on the coast of NC near the CAPE FEAR. We seldom are missed by hurricanes and also often lose power because of summer thunder storms and high winds. Of all of my hurricane supplies this is my favorite. It is very bright. It can also be charged by my car or hurricane charge stations. It is very dependable. I have 4 different types of lanterns and this is the best and lights up an entire room. A real "must have".

I bought two of these limps after a recent blackout to have in case we have another blackout. The are much more useful that a flashlight as they can sit on a table or hang from a hook and provide sufficient light on a desk that one can easily read or do paperwork. While we have not had a blackout I have found these lamps extremely useful in doing work around the house where there is limited light or when I am doing electrical work and have the power shut off and need light to work. I also believe they would be handy when you are working on a car and need supplemental light. They have proved excellent and the indicating LED on them lets you know when they are fully charged.

I took this on our camping trip just after I bought it, and WOW, it will light up your camp! My only complaint is that it was actually a little too bright for us. It's supposed to have a couple different brightness settings, but these didn't seem to work very well, we couldn't really tell a difference between the two. I'm still happy with it, great buy for the money. I will keep it and use it more for task lighting and just use something else for chilling around the camp at night.

The product is compact and light weight. It is very bright at its max setting which is 1000 lumen. It has 3 brightness levels low(cool white), medium(soft white) and high(daylight). All these brightness levels are dimmable. It also has a strobe mode which is flashing light. The overall build of the product seems pretty sturdy. The only two drawbacks would be that the cover cannot be removed for upside down use and the lamp is not water resistant.PS: At first I had received a defective product and contacted the seller by email but did not get any reply from them. However, when I wrote a review they got back to me. They were having some issues with their inbox so they did not receive my email. They sent me a replacement and I am writing this after testing the new product.

The design is excellent. In high output mode the light output is about equal to a 75 watt bulb. The 300 Lm mode is brighter than the CFL lanterns I bought years ago. I like the small compact size, much easier to store and transport than the large clunky ones I have now. Above average on the ruggedness scale. The outer case is made of a hard rubber that makes easy to grip and would provide some cushion on a drop. The plastic lens seems quite durable.Most electronic devices are not tested after manufacturing these days. It is cost prohibitive. The assumption is that you design the manufacturing process such that every piece should be made exactly the same (Plan A is no defects). I suspect that this device is designed in the USA but manufactured in China. That being said most of the units work properly but occasionally some have manufacturing defects. Recommend charging the unit, use it some, and then recharge it soon after receiving it rather than waiting for an actual need. You can return it if there is a problem.A replaceable D size battery lantern would be a better choice if the primary/only reason for purchasing this rechargeable lantern is for light during a storm related power outage which could last for days. When the battery is fully charged the lantern has about 6 to 7 hours run time on high/medium power and 20 hours on low power. Rechargeable batteries self-discharge during storage so there is high probability that the battery will not be fully charged when the need arises. You might only have 4 to 5 hours of light. Then it takes 6 to 8 hours to recharge if you can recharge it at all. A replaceable D size battery lantern with comparable specs costs about half what this rechargeable lantern costs. If you find that you have other uses, consider purchasing this product for first use plus a replaceable D size battery lantern and keep extra batteries on hand for power outages.

It is nice to know we have a reliable and versatile light ready to go in case of a power outage. Would have loved to have this back in our camping days instead of the Coleman gas model.

Everything about this lamp is great, except the battery life. I ordered 3 of these because I was so pleased with the light. It was only after that, that I found out if you use the light a few times for a total of 15 min. (guessing), then you have to charge the light 4-6 hrs to get it fully charged again. Manufacturer needs to work on that. Otherwise, it's a great little bright lamp.

Good and bright lamp better than I expected

Lamp is excellent, it is lightweight and easy to handle yet the power is super. It is great as can hook up around the garden and has very good features such as excellent battery life and dimming so I never track of the dog in the garden without annoying the neighbours. Great product I now have two.

The fireball lantern works really well arrived in less than 4 days of ordering very happy would buy this again
