Review: Disappointed, but maybe my fault? - I love sea monkeys so much. I find them a very nostalgic part of childhood and wanted to get my kids hooked into them also. Mine came damaged but still usable and they did not hatch. Not a single one! I’ve never had that happen before. I’m not sure if it’s related to the time of year or just a bad batch? Nonetheless, I am disappointed. But rest assured, sea monkeys are awesome and if your batch takes off, they are so fun and simple to take care of. EDIT: Updating review from 4 to 5 stars - Happy to report that my sea monkeys hatched out of nowhere 2 weeks after adding the eggs! I didn’t do anything other than leave the water chilling in the same spot for two weeks. I almost considered dumping and trying again a few days prior to seeing some activity, so I’m very glad I didn’t lol. So far, we only have 3 tiny little guys, but they’re doing well. So if you think your eggs are a bust, just give it a little more time! It does say in the pamphlet that it can take up to 3 weeks for all eggs to hatch, but I didn’t expect that I wouldn’t have a single hatch until 2 weeks. Nonetheless, I am pleased! I’m thinking most people who reported no hatching just didn’t give it enough time or provide the best conditions.
Review: no no no - only 2 sea monkeys came out of this (thankfully one boy and one girl) and altho they did have babies, all the babies disappeared shortly after being born and the female passed away as well leaving only one lonely daddy sea monkey who passed about a week later. it was more of an overall bummer and Rollercoaster if emotions than a learning experience or pets. I wiloyldnt buy these again ever, especially not for the expensive price.

**Q: The eggs didnt “hatch” I guess you would say I followed directions, but nothing   Is there any way to buy some more of them to try and do again**
A: We just purchased 2 week ago and have many hatch the 1st week and many more this 2nd week. We push air in the tank 2 / day to oxygenated and seem to be doing good they’re growing pretty quickly we also have them in a indirect sunlight

**Q: Where can i buy more food?**
A: Just get the powdered algae or pelletier spirulina powder on amazon

**Q: Do you have to add air bubbles with a pipette?**
A: Nope. I sometimes add some new water or take some of their old water and shake it up to add oxygen. Have had mine for 6 months now and they are doing great in a regular fish bowl with no filters they like dirty water but I don't let it get too dirty. I bought 2 kits and put both after a few weeks in the fish bowl with treated  distilled salt water.

**Q: Do you have to buy more water purifier as time goes on? Or clean the tank?**
A: If you are replacing water from evaporation, you will not have to use more purifier, because the salt does not evaporate. If you are going to be changing some of the water in order to clean the tank, you will need to add a little bit of purifier OR use marine aquarium salt. The "purifier" is not really purifier, since you start out using distilled water, there is nothing to purify. It is really just salt and minerals.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved these since I was a kid

Fun as always. I had these as a kid and have had several tanks since I was a kid. The instruction book is a little different from way back when... a little more rooted in science and a little less in fancy (although those old instruction books had a lot in them!). Overall, it's very easy to set up a tank and get it going - you just have to be patient. Eggs hatch at different rates and sea monkeys will have babies, so sometimes you might think you've only got two adults out of the deal, but if you're patient (and follow directions closely) you'll soon have a tank of all different ages swimming around. It looks nice - I keep it on a windowsill in the kitchen by the sink. Plastic. Has little magnifying lenses built into the side. Overall fun.
