I ordered 2 of these and the quality was less than expected. The picture protector insert is very thin plastic and one of them had a dent and scratch on it. The 'monogrammable' backs on both of them were scratched up when I took them out of the boxes for the first time. The latches that hold the backings on require a screwdriver to remove and replace, which was fine but unexpected for the first one. However, the second one didn't have the threading a deep as needed for a tight lock on the backing. It was very disappointing to have all of these issues, especially for something meant to honor and cherish a loved one who has passed. The look of the front (less the dented/scratched plastic) does look like the pictured ornament, but the quality of the product should have been better.

I lost my sister a few months ago and I wanted to do something special for my other 3 sisters and when I seen these ornaments I knew this is what I wanted so my sister's can see her photo daily not as a ornament but a hanging photo holder. They are perfect. I loved the box that they came in with a saying inside.. something extra special to me.FYI...You can use the photo inside the ornament to measure/guide for your photo. It's is made from thick paper so you can trace your photo to cut to the right size.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom, my grandma had passed away in the fall and I gave it to her at Christmas with a picture of my grandma inside.I decided to purchase this ornament because the picture is bigger than most others that I saw. You can actually SEE my grandmas face and that is what makes this ornament so special. I highly recommend this ornament because there was nothing more comforting than seeing my grandmas face on my parents beautiful Christmas tree. I loved knowing she was with us and I enjoyed the little reminder on the tree.

I am very happy with the size of the ornament especially the 2" picture space. The detail could be better as I ordered three and gave one to my sister who lost her best friend this year. Out of the three only one was perfect, which I gave as the gift. I kept the others and will be happy to use them because after looking at so many of them, this one is the only one that has a big picture area. You can actually enjoy the ornament from a distance on your tree because you can see the beautiful face of your loved one w/out straining eyes. After all, isn't this the point to be able to see them on the tree w/out them disappearing because the picture area is so small. I recommend you pay attention to the size of the picture when choosing you memorial ornament and you will find most of only 1". That makes this one the best in my opinion.

Getting into the back of this to replace the photo requires a TINY Phillips head screwdriver. Unless you have one of those handy, you will have to go buy one. And then there are tiny little screws and washers to contend with to reassemble the frame. There are far easier and simpler ways to secure the back on a frame. Whoever designed this was not thinking about the user. The frame is nice, but be prepared to invest some time, effort, and maybe money into getting it open and closed again.

I purchased 4 of these to gives as Christmas presents to family since we recently lost someone. Three of the four were perfect; the fourth was missing a stone and the words were hard to read on the far right side. Wish the seller had looked at it before shipping, but this close to Christmas I will just keep the defective one and give the others to family. Each ornament is heavy and you can add your own picture of a loved one. It comes with a ribbon to hang the ornament and a gift box. If ordering I just suggest checking it carefully, especially if it is a gift.

These will make great gifts for my daughter's family. I plan to insert a picture of my grandson that died expectantly this summer and give one to each family member.

Love this memorial Christmas tree ornament! It’s high-quality metal, so it will never break, it has a Christian sentiment, and I can place a photo of my loved one in it. This is the third one I’ve ordered and plan to buy several others soon.
