Works as good as a metal blade, but safer!
Love the sleek design. The blade stays sharp for a long time.

Love this
I got this for work bc kept cutting myself on the standard type. Haven't with this, it's small little bigger then a pen and a small blade comes out and it cuts through boxes and tape so easy. Love this. Had gotten another one before this that works as good but that was heavy and way too big to keep on you. This one I don't even feel in my pocket. Love it

Nice cutter, but...
The only thing I'd like changed is the ability to lock it in place so I didn't have to struggle to keep it extended when opening boxes. I always have to slide it open again and again because my finger slips. Just me?... maybe. But that's all I really can find I dislike about it. Other than that, go for it. It cuts very well.

So easy to use!
Love this product so much that I have three! I keep one in the garage, one in the kitchen and one in my office area. Makes opening boxes safe and easy. Easily one of my favorite purchases of 2023!

A lightweight holder yet durable cutter blade
I had high hopes for this product but in practice, I have my doubts. Working in job that has me constantly cutting and reshaping cardboard boxes, I was looking for something that could equal, if not top the performance the nearly ubiquitous box cutter because of the dubious support of my employer. Having had some very positive experiences with ceramic kitchen cutlery, I am familiar with the sharpness durability and thought how wonderful if the same could be applied in box cutter. It worked in the most important respects but uncertainly arose as I continued to use it - let me tell you about it.The slice pen cutter is essentially retractable crafting knife that uses the distinct ceramic blades. Compared the common metal blades, ceramic is more resistant to wear citing its hardiness and impervious to corrosion and electrical conductance. While the aforementioned might be better appreciated by chefs and electricians, its cutting durability is something anyone who needs to make definite cut will appreciate - a sharp knife is a safe knife and Slice of series of blades provide that critical edge.Unfortunately, I cannot praise the actual pen cutter design. Made up entirely of plastic and held in place by notch and sliver of plastic rail, the longevity is in question. As a crafting knife I have no doubt it will do great with the materials and precise cuts involved but as a box cutting instrument - it does it well but for how long? Cutting through a box is no problem but I can already imagine the blade slipping out of the handle with encounters with glue spots or staples. It has not happened to me just yet but eventually it will because I am using this frequently. Another problem is the bulbous design of the handle - it will take some kind of a customized lanyard because the little more than ½in. radius, the average wrist strap landyard will not fit and the hole provided is large enough to accommodate paracord .Ultimately, while the blade itself is great and cost-effective in regard to replacement rates, the holder is a bit more questionable as I do not see up the challenge of box cutting abuses in a warehouse setting. Now if you are like me - a responsible adult who cares for personal and company-issued tools - it might work great. If you are in arts and crafts, this might work out just as well. As a warehouse box cutter? Well if you respect the limitations of the plastic holder, you can get used to this.

Sharp ceramic box cutter: Does the job of traditional box cutters
This little box cutter is perfect for when I have to open boxes of supplies at work. Prefer it over the traditional heavy box cutter we have. Down side is there isn’t a clip on it for your pocket.

It makes me want to buy more things just so I can use it.
I've been really impressed by this cutter. It really does cut everything you want it to with ease while also not risking cutting my fingers (I actually tried, just to test it). I was worried about the durability of the blade being ceramic, but I haven't had any issues with it at all. It cuts through all manners of tape and packaging like butter and I even now use it to cut my cardboard boxes into smaller pieces so I can fit them in my recycling bin easier (it's also just really satisfying to use so I'm just looking for excuses now). The locking blade works well and I've not had any worries about it slipping while cutting stuff up. The only thing it had difficulty cutting through was a double-layer sturdy cardboard box that my 60 lb. office chair was packaged in, and it was mostly because the cardboard was so thick the blade just wasn't long enough. Aside from that, I've completely ditched my utility knife and I feel much safer opening all manners of packaging, whether boxes or those weird plastic clamshell things that destroys every pair of scissors you own. I got the manually locking retracting blade which I think is the right move; I imagine using the auto-retracting blade would be a lot more frustrating to use. The pen shaped design also means it's just as easy to just keep it handy in a cup on your countertop with some other pens and pencils rather than in a drawer if you so choose.

Excellent for pastel and coloured pencil works
Purchased as it was recommended by a couple artists working with pastel pencils and coloured pencils. Works great for adding in (removed pigment) fine lines for hair and whiskers.

Soy creyente ahora

Super consigliato
