A diluted version of frankincense oil or 100% frankincense oil?** A: It's supposed to be the undiluted 100% Frankincense, but some sellers incorrectly sell the 20% grapeseed oil blend from this listing. I always order from a seller marked as "fulfilled by Amazon" to make sure I get the correct product. You can also filter the sellers by Amazon Prime eligible items, or email sellers individually and ask before you order. It's a pain, but I don't like to take chances with items as similar as these 2 items. Both are great products, but when you pay for 100% you should get 100% and not the cheaper blended version. **Q: Is this frankincense caterii, serrata, frereana or a blend of the different frankincense oils?** A: Mine says boswellia carterii and is 100% frankincense. NOW also makes a 20% blend, so make sure you order from a seller marked as "fulfilled by Amazon" or you will more than likely get the cheaper 20% version as I'm sure you've seen complaints about in the reviews. I think they are both carterii and are great products depending on how you want to use them, but I just wanted to make you aware since there is a significant price difference between the 2 products. **Q: Are none of these that are offered 100% pure without a blend of a carrier oil or any other oil?? The bottle is a bit smaller than I had envisaged but I'm very happy with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another good quality essential oil at a great price from NOW. *by A***D on 16 October 2017* I have been experimenting with essential oils for about ten years now, and have tried a wide range of brands. I've tended to stick with the mid-range brands like Aura Cacia, but I've tried some of the cheaper off brands offered on Amazon, as well as some high end brands like Do Terra and Young Living. Recently, I've fallen in love with NOW essential oils and have been buying them almost exclusively for the past year or so. The quality is great and the price is amazing for what you get. They are definitely on par with Aura Cacia for about half the price per ounce, on average. I have never gotten a NOW essential oil where I questioned if it might be a synthetic fragrance oil. I have allergies and synthetic fragrances instantly cause my nose to stuff up and often give me headaches and nausea- I have gotten a few fake essential oils through cheap retailers and some shady sellers on Amazon and I could tell right away. This frankincense oil is definitely the real deal, but as there are several different varieties of frankincense, this might not smell exactly like other brands, and might even smell a little off. I honestly don't care for any brand of frankincense on its own. I will inhale it when I have a cold or sinus infection, but otherwise I only ever use it blended with other oils. In blends, the strong, medicinal scent of this oil mellows out and just adds a little depth to lighter or more floral essential oils. I use frankincense when I'm feeling sick by inhaling the aroma from the bottle, adding it to hot baths, and adding it to a blend of other oils in a diffuser. For diffusing, I think the smell of frankincense goes with almost everything, but my go-to blend is to mix it with lavender, pine, bergamot, and citrus. Vetiver is also nice to add to this mix for a deeper, more woodsy fragrance. As frankincense is known to be antiseptic, it also goes into my homemade all purpose cleaner. The recipe I use is a couple tablespoons of Dr. Bronner's Sal's Suds, and a generous blend of tea tree oil, frankincense, pine, lemon, and lavender. All of that is added to a spray bottle filled with water and is then good to go for an all natural, better smelling alternative to Pine Sol.
