A: I think Barbie is the only one that is available in different skin tones on certain dolls. I havent seen any of the Dreamtopia collection with any other options.

A: Barbie is geared towards girls.

It is a toy.  Mattel created the Dreamtopia line decided to have a boy mermaid.
