I would have replaced it sooner, but I wasn't 100% certain if it was the switch or solenoid because each time I attempted to diagnose it, the boat would start normally. This switch is the perfect replacement for the original one and was simple to install. Remove the old switch, swap the wiring, and reinstall the new one. Literally took 5 minutes and works great.
