I rented the 6th edition so I could have an actual hard copy of the book to look at rather than use the e-text that comes with the required MyStatLab (I purchased that by itself). I find it much easier to study from a book than stare at a computer screen for hours on end trying to scroll through page after page. This book is pretty much a spot on match to the 7th edition in terms of chapter layout, concepts, and vocab. Some of the practice problems, quizzes, and tests have some slightly different questions from the 7th, but that's ok. I can always access the e-text and get more practice in if I think I need it. I've been able to take good notes and review with the problems. The online homework I turn in each week has some of the same questions from the 6th edition, so this is working out really well. The rental price is def worth it! It saved me some money on a new book and now I have a book that I can take anywhere. I'm not limited to an e-text that requires Internet access.
