They hold 10 oz to the top of the cup. **Q: Is there much of a rim on the base? Does much water pool in the base after dishwashing?** A: There is no rim on the base, but it is slightly concave and so collects a small puddle in the dishwasher. We bought these cups to replace ones with an annoying lip at the brim that filled with water in the dishwasher and required picking the cup up and flipping it to dislodge the water.
