There are a lot of A2E conversion triggers out there. We wanted ours to provide all the adjust-ability needed to play well with all modules! We didn't want to leave all the triggering parameters up to just your drum brain. We feel we have designed a great trigger solution! The Helensson ITM2 Internal trigger was designed with the serious player in mind... as are all products in the Helensson product line. The dual zone ITM2 trigger implements a unique head piezo sensor design that is unlike other triggers on the market. While others use generic piezo mounting methods, the Helensson head piezo along with its floating housing are tuned to match a drum head's sonic characteristics. This tuned piezo design produces a much smoother dynamic range. The Helensson ITM2 is also the most versatile internally mounted trigger on the market.... potentiometers are provided for both the head and the rim adjustment, allowing "from the drum" fine tuning. This feature can be especially beneficial when using your drums with multiple drum modules. We thought of everything! ...In addition to the pots, a phase switch has also been added for those drum modules (such as Roland) that might require a head piezo polarity swap. (see your manual). The ITM2 housing is made of solid steel with a nice powder-coat finish. Being a mere 3.5" tall the ITM2 can be installed into even small piccolo sized shells. To keep your shells pristine the rear surface of the ITM2 is slightly contoured to prevent possible nicks and scratches while installing or while removing the trigger.
