The Hell Bent Steel Dodge Ram Steering Stabilizer is designed and built to the high-quality standards for which Hell Bent Steel is known! The HBS Dodge Ram Steering Stabilizer is constructed from heavy-duty steel plate ant tubing with specially formulated corrosion-resistant powder coating. The stabilizer bar is a simple bolt-on installation for immediate results. The HBS Dodge Ram Steering Stabilizer will dramatically reduce or eliminate the play in the steering, also known as steering "wander," for which Dodge trucks are notorious! In a stock solid axle Dodge Ram, as the wheels turn left and right the sector shaft in the gear box is repeatedly loaded and unloaded from the side. This sideways loading will, over time, wear out the internal components of your steering gearbox causing it to fail. The HBS Steering Stabilizer carries the side-acting loads which allow the shaft to move freely and dramatically extends the life of the gearbox. The HBS Dodge Ram Steering Stabilizer is not intended nor is it designed to be used as a replacement for a worn-out gearbox or other steering components. The stabilizer bar will extend the life of a properly functioning steering gearbox.

Installed on 2017 Ram 3500 SRW - Excellent Kit
***2-1/2 Year Update: Still working and holding up great. No issues. Happy I can keep the bearing greased via the provided zerk fitting. Happy I got this when the truck was new. It has clearly provided strength and support to help preserve the steering box and has held up great with a lot of hard use. EXCELLENT Product.*** Installed this on my 2017 Ram 3500 4wd a couple months after purchasing it new. Easy installation that took about 40 minutes. No modification or drilling required. Included all needed hardware, detailed instructions, parts list and a HBS sticker. Once you install this kit you realize that these trucks SHOULD come with this from the factory! For the reasonable price I think it is a must. If your steering box is already worn out - I suggest you replace it first - then get this kit. DON'T use this stabilizer as a band-aid to help support a worn out steering box.

Easy install, 60 minutes
Installed on 2012 Ram 2500 Cummins with a factory 2 inch leveling kit and 285/75/17 Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx tires which were on for 20k miles. Easy install, 60 minutes. Im very pleased with the results. There were small vibrations I could feel through the steering wheel - kind of jittery - which are now gone and the steering and wheel feels smooth. Its not "tighter" on my truck like another reviewer mentioned on his, my steering is stll easy, but all the shakes and feeling of instability are gone. I will probably install one on my other Ram which just got lifted so the same issue doesnt develop on that truck. Cheers.

Fits 2016 Ram 3500 Megacab perfectly.
I purchased this for my 2016 Ram 3500 Megacab and it fits perfect. Instructions are easy to understand and fitment was excellent. I noticed it took the play out of the steering wheel giving it a tighter feel.

Great addition
Installed on a 2012 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn. It made driving the truck fun again, no more constantly correcting the wheel. The installation was pretty straightforward and the directions were clear. I replaced the steering damper and shocks at the same time. I went with the Bilstein 5100's and couldn't be happier.

Easy install an hopefully it'll prevent another seal blow out
Easy install an hopefully it'll prevent another seal blow out. It took longer to find the right size sockets than it did to install, no drilling uses factory holes

2014 Ram 2500 CTD
I purchased this for my 2014 Ram 2500 CTD with about 55,000 miles on it. I installed the steering box stabilizer and replaced the factory steering damper with a Bilstein 5100 damper part #33-170794. The combination of the two immediately changed that loose feel of the Dodge steering.
