First, the cupcake stand is very useful. It did what I wanted it to do. I used it with the small tier on top and I didn't have any issues with it being unstable. If you try to use the big one on top, you might. The center tube is hollow which I liked because I filled it with candy. I wish it had a stopper on the end. You will either have to seal it with tape, or fill it on the table knowing that when you pick it up, the filling will fall out. :( The center tube is kind of flimsy, but it held together nicely. You can also only use two layers which makes it nice for smaller groups.As others stated, the tiers look a little scratched. Someone said their item was used...I don't think they are, but they DO look like they have fingerprints on them. However, they don't wipe off. I tried. Anyway, once you get your cupcakes on, you can't see the small scratches or smudges, but they are somewhat noticeable when you take the tiers out of the packaging. Honestly, once I got my cupcakes on, I didn't think of the smudges again. But, it may annoy you at first glance. It did me.I don't like that there is not way to store it flat. You can take it apart, but it won't lie flat So, that's a minor issue when you are finished with it and want to store it. Oh, and the bottom tier sits directly on the table which is okay, but it would be nicer if it didn't.All in all, I like it, but I feel it's a little over priced. I ordered it because I couldn't find anything cheaper that had three tiers. It serves the purpose and I would use it again.

The pros are: (1) you can make it as many tiers as you want (I'm using all three for a baby shower, however, my sons upcoming birthday will only require 1 tier= multifunctional!) (2)The flat surface makes it ideal to display anything(some cupcake stands have cupcake grooves which would prevent displaying other items), you can use it for cupcakes, cakes, parfaits, candy etc. (3) A single layer cake can fit on it and as a creative idea you can use a bundt cake pan for multiple stacked cakes on each tier (4) the middle is fillable- or you can keep it clear (I used "its a girl" wrapped mints for the middle for the upcoming babyshower, but for my sons party I am using skittles- very cute touch (5) the clear design means you can use your own decorations to make it very fancy or not and it goes with every theme (ie: a white stand may not look good at a black/orange Halloween party- this stand is clear so you can decorate it how you want) (6) It comes a part for easy clean up and storage (7) the price is great for the size (think 3 tier wedding cake, or 1 1/2 ft.)and functionality!There are a few cons, but for the price I don't care LOL: (1) Not sure if mines was just missing one, but the middle tub does not have a stopper so the candy can fall out- but hey, I'm going to put some clear masking tape over the bottom and hopefully it will be fine (2) you have to really make sure you have everything tight and sturdy before you put anything on it since you put it together yourself (seems like common sense to me, but this is just an FYI)

I just used this at my daughter's birthday party last week and it worked very well. It is very easy to put together and looked really pretty. I was surprised at just how many cupcakes I could fit on this. I used the bottom two tiers for cupcakes, and fit 35 regular cupcakes. I love that there's plenty of space between each tier to fit the cupcakes along with toppers. I also love that the top tier is flat, unlike many tiered dishes, so I could put a small cake on top. I love that it collapses for storage, and it seems very durable. I hope to get many uses out of it, and I feel it was a good value for the money. My only issues with it are that I wish the bottom tier was slightly bigger than the middle tier (they are the same size), and I found it challenging to get the top tier completely level. As far as the bottom tier's size, because the stand is clear, I was able to put extra cupcakes around the bottom tier to make it appear larger than it was, and I was pleased with that. And with some extra work, I was able to get the top tier level. Overall, a good purchase--I would definitely recommend.

I used this upside down so the small tier is on top. I wouldn't imagine it being too stable with small on bottom. It does take a bit to get the center tubes and tiers level. But for cost, can't complain. It does have a hole at the center so if you plan to put a cake on top tier then you will need to plug it up somehow with either clear tape or I put some wax paper inside the hole so the cake doesn't fall into the tube. I have put it together to see the stability but otherwise I haven't used all 3 together yet. I did use the small one alone with a cake and was good until there was more Cake on one side and it kept tipping. But if I used it with another tier so it had a flat bottom, I wouldn't have that problem. I plan to put a small smash cake on top tier and put cupcakes on the other two tiers for my daughters first birthday. I bought colored sixlets to fill the center tube for added color. Just remember to tape the bottom tube otherwise you will have a mess when you pick up the tiers. Also it comes apart and easily stored.

I ordered this late on April 24th, and received it on the 27th, so extremely fast shipping in which I am happy about as I need it for my little ones 4th birthday party in a week...I would have preferred it to not be as scuffed up as it was, and it wasn't extremely bad however noticeable. I did give this product 5 stars as for the numerous searching for one that could fit a 6 inch round cake on top, with enough room for cupcakes that have the printed toppers on them, without it being outrageously expensive. This one has plenty of room between the layers for those and will fit the top cake perfectly. I also do plan to fill the middle cylinders with candy to match the theme so it should be cute. Even with the scuffs, I can cut out the center of doilies and use them on the layers to cover those up and this is why I am still giving this item 5 stars as the price was fantastic. I also did realize that it would get scuffed in storage and such as well so no big deal...it does seam sturdy enough as well to hold what I am using it for! So as long as it doesn't get broken while in storage, I plan to use it for many birthdays!!!
