Works as well as any non-calibrated sound meter
Pros:+ Large display+ Uses 3 AAA batteries+ Included case is nice+ All the keys work (e.g. backlight, mode, max, temp.)Cons:- Automatic, no-activity shutoff does not work. (Manual says 15s shutoff, I waited 5+ min.)- Battery compartment cover doesn't completely latch close. (Meaning battery cover pops open easily during normal use/storage)- USB micro-B cutout on bottom is not connected to anything. (No mention of USB feature in the manual, so I think this model just used a case from a higher-end model)
