These kitchen scissors are wonderful! They have a sturdy feel, though they are a bit big for my hands (I have very small hands). But can they ever cut!! I have been searching for kitchen scissors that can handle cutting up fresh chickens (skin and all), and these work like a charm. I am amazed. I have been through quite a number of kitchen scissors. Some worked very well, except for the skin. These effortlessly cut right through all parts of the chicken - meat, skin, bones, organs. And the come apart for thorough cleaning. One of the problems I've had with other scissors, is that over time they become loose - and then are no good for anything. These are supposedly adjustable, so that I will be able to tighten them, should they loosen. That hasn't happened yet, so the jury is still out whether I'll be able tighten them - but I have no reason to doubt that, as these scissors have exceeded my expectations on all other features. Some folks have complained about a bit of rust, but so far I have not seen any rust - and I use and wash these scissors (in warm, soapy water) every day. I am one happy cutter!

Bought these as a gift for a friend, tried em out, and came straight back here to order a pair for myself. They're SUPER sharp and fit my hands well. Someone in another review had mentioned them being too large for their hands, so I hesitated at first. After I tried the ones I bought my friend, I was sold!! My hands are small as well, but I don't like my fingers to be scrunched up when I'm trying to use scissors. So the finger holes are perfect! I also like the way they're made as far as coming apart for cleaning because there's NO WAY they're gonna come apart while being used like lots of others apparently do.

I love these kitchen scissors. I've used them daily for over 3 years and they are still sharp, still rust free, and still work great. I have thrown away multiple pairs of scissors in the past, usually because they have rusted or become too dull to work. These are easy to clean and still work perfectly. I am online now to buy a pair for each of my daughters.

These are great for jobs from snipping herbs to spatchcocking a chicken, and I love that they come apart for cleaning. However.... the nut/bolt/washer contraption is kind of a pain. It does like to come apart in the dishwasher, and sometimes once I get it back together, the scissor halves are hard to link up again. I find myself having to loosen the washer to get the halves together, then tighten it up once they're linked. Once they're clean and back together, though, they're great kitchen scissors!

Nice, solid, quality kitchen scissors. I love the mechanism that keeps the two halves together - it come apart easily but not so much so that it happens when you don’t want it to (my last pair did that and it was annoying.) They’re a nice size and on the heavier side so good and solid. Comfortable to hold. My roommate used them for the first time and commented, “oh wow I really like these new scissors.”I haven’t tried the peeler feature - I didn’t buy it for that and don’t really foresee using it at all. I wanted a pair that came apart for cleaning and had the recessed area on the blade for cutting larger items. These scissors had what I wanted and more and the price is good.Also, the seller contacted me twice. Right after I ordered, to let me know there had recently been problems with their item numbers resulting in people receiving the wrong item, that they were working to resolve it, and instructions on what to do if that happened. (I got the correct item.) Then they contacted me after it arrived with a general thank you note. So seller seems responsive and attentive should there be any issues down the road.Highly recommend.

I love this scissors! For the price it is sharp and nicely weighted. Feels good in my hand and comes apart easily for cleaning. I may buy another one just to have a backup!

The only consistent use I have had for kitchen shears is to cut spinach for salad, the old scissors (different brand) getting sticky and hard to use. Based on reviews, purchased these. Of course, work nicely for spinach. But I have always had a b-word of a time cutting my Sam's skin-on ~3.5 lb salmon fillets into ~~5 ounce fillets, which I freeze for my lunches. (Yeah, but I LIKE the skin.) The salmon flesh cuts nicely with a filleting knife, but the skin, bigtime b-word to cut, lots of elbow grease, even with excellent knives, surgical blades, Exactos/box cutters, you name it. BUT THESE SCISSORS CUT THE SALMON SKIN LIKE A HOT KNIFE GOING THROUGH BUTTER. I'm lucky enough that was the biggest headache in my life. Now solved, I can live and enjoy life again, the final remaining existential problem SOLVED BY THESE SCISSORS. Plus, they come apart for great cleaning after being used on raw fish. (My spouse is the jealous type; I share this review on the condition no one tells her I love these scissors.) They are easy to take apart and put together, no issue whatsoever, contrary to some reviews, and one concern I had when purchasing. On a 0-5 scale, these scissors are a 10.
