Nice stem for the money.
Pretty heavy stem, but I'm a pretty heavy rider so I won't knock it for that. Works as advertised, though I may get a longer one to see if that makes a better fit for me. I did have to cut my steerer tube on my Specialized Crosstrail because this one was a shorter overall height than the stocker. You could also just get another 5mil spacer and do it that way as well.

An inexpensive solution to fine tune your geometry
For some time, I suspected that my old stem was a little longer than it should be. Short rides aren't a problem, but I have noticed some wrist and back soreness over longer distances. As a life-long cyclist, I'm very aware that small adjustments often make a huge difference, so I bought this in the hope that it would be enough to change up my geometry a little. So far, so good. This stem is 10mm shorter than my old one, which is a good start, but I also like that I can micro-adjust the angle as well. At this price, I'm not sure if I would trust this with a really aggressive riding style, but, as a casual mountain bike rider, I'm not terribly concerned. Installation was easy, and took exactly one tool, one beer, and about 15 minutes, start to finish. So far, I'm please with it's performance, and also it's understated look.

this is sturdy. I am currently using as part of a tiller setup on my recumbent stick bike. ( also using a glideflex, if anyones interested.) the setup works well, and this is a good working part of it.

Heavy
Very heavy. Returned it and found something else that has worked well.

Update: Very noisy, had to replace it.
Update: This developed a squeak that drove me crazy until I figured out where it was coming from. No amount of tightening would stop it. I replaced this unit with this, and problem solved. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001C6DQRU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Too late to return it, so it goes in the garbage. I'd give it ten stars if I could. Allows me to adjust the height of the handlebars to my preference. I don't know why bike manufacturers don't put these on before their bikes ever leave the plant. Love it, will never own another bike without it. Very well made and heavy duty.

Good Product
Fit and finish are excellent. Mounted on a Trek FX. Now my bars are a little higher for less lean. Only issue was the stem mount was not as high as what was on my bike. Had to get an additional spacer.

Check Which Model Before Ordering
Works excellent. I would of given it five stars if I was asked when ordering to check which size I wanted, 90mm or 110mm, which defaulted to 90mm and the order was processed. The 90 worked ok but the 110 would of been perfect in raising my wife's handlebar to her desired height. Also, the shipping was extremely slow for an Amazon company and what's ironic is it came from Niagara Cycle, about 20 miles from where I live!

Brought handlebar 2.5 inches closer
Bought this 90mm L/25.4mm H/0-60 adjustable stem to raise the handlebar and therefore relieve some of the pressure on my hands after long rides on flat trails. I no longer do aggressive trails so strength/reliability is no longer my top concern. This stem was easy to install, once I watched the YouTube "How to Replace a Bicycle Stem - Threadless" video by Park Tool. I did need to add an additional 3mm spacer since it was smaller than my original Race Face stem. The original stem was 100mm with ~10 degrees positive rise, and adding this XLC stem, set at 60 degrees, brought it ~2.5 inches closer to my chest. I just finished installing it so I'll update this review only if I have problems with it. To install it properly, you should use a torque wrench capable of 5-13Nm.

No me da ninguna seguridad. Me he comprado otra.
