Total Math, Grade 3 Paperback – January 3, 2012

This math workbook was out of print. Tutoring a gentleman who's autistic that made it through addition. The book was sold as 'in very good condition'. It is. Easy to read, no writings in workbook though it had many spaces for answers.

We like these cheap and simple books. Math shouldn't be stressful at this age-- or expensive! My kids each did these up to grade 4, and then we moved on to Teaching Textbooks. They were well prepared.

I really like these Total Math books. It's true that they are basic, but it covers what is needed at a young age. I plan to move my kids to Saxon as they get a big bigger, but for now, this coupled with Math-It, and a few other skill books, is great for us.

I have this for my 3rd grader and I also have the 5th grade book for my 5th grader. The books are big with a complete breakdown for the grade and subject.

We started out this school year with a review of 2nd grade math before starting this book. My son was already adding and subtracting fractions and borrowing and carrying by the end of last year. Therefore, I have to say, I think this is a bit simple for 3rd grade. But, we have only just started the book. I'm skipping over some of the earlier pages. Overall, the information is presented fairly well, and I do like the story equations. (I replace the word "problem" with "equation" as math is not a "problem.")

Very helpful with my granddaughter's math. She was having a problem with word problems and multiplication the book helps me to be able to explain things better to her.

It came as promised and I was happy with the product inside.
