Love these things couldn’t be happier with them

I bought these because I read that John Bonham used 2b sticks. They're pretty comfortable and you don't have to work hard to get a loud sound. That being said I mostly use them on my practice pad to build strength and stick with my 5a or jazz sticks when I'm at my drum set. They have nice rebound on the practice pad.

I've been playing drums for over 13 years, tried out every brand of every detail you might think of. I've used a ton of different brands and models of drumsticks from the ProMark 2B's to the Regal Tip Deaths and even all the way to the STLs. But for some reason I always found myself going back to these. Truth be told, they do feel great, sound great, they offer great amounts of speed with awesome control, I really dig the attack and articulation the nylon tip offers, not to mention the part that the tip has never broken on me, unlike the wood tip. That being said considering that some people who have heard me play say that I kill the drums every time I hit them, and if that's true, these are a heck of a pair of sticks since my last pair I bought well over a year ago and they still keep on going and are even in good shape. Overall, I highly recommend these if you're looking for a solid, heavy stick. If you're looking for something lighter any other Vic Firth nylon tip will work great. Contrary to what some people might say, never has the tip flown away on me.

Der 7A ist etwas Kürzer und dünner, damit auch leichter als der Bruder 5A. Für leiseres Spiel und kleinere Hände also sehr gut. Ich nutze ihn für Jazz im Proberaum, weil ich damit gutes Ansprechen und dynamisches Spiel bei gleichzeitig begrenzter Lautstärke gut kombinieren kann. Für meine Handgröße (Handschuhgröße 8) fast etwas zu dünn, aber nachdem ich damit die filigranen Dinge spiele, kein Problem. Für die rockigen Sachen mit mehr Bums greife ich dann zum 5A.
