18" x 7" African Talking Drum

somekind of weird dark brown stain on the wood hour glass shape. at first looked like rot. then maybe its glue .or maybe its food. I thought that this kind of wood had no marks on it. the drum sounds good and that's what matters. the stain is just not nice to look at. and ... the curved drum stick bead has a crack in it and I'm not into carving.
