Joseph Joseph PowerGrip Kitchen Shears Scissors with Thumb Grip and Herb Stripper Separates for Cleaning Japanese Stainless-Steel, White/Green

My kitchen scissors that live in the "catch all drawer" were looking pretty skuzzy. Since they have to be close to 20 years old, I felt like it was time for a new pair- and maybe an upgrade. BOY did I find it! I've been pleased with almost everything I've purchased from Joseph Joseph, and this is no exception. These suckers are heavy duty and worth twice the price Amazon is selling them for. Among other things- like the separate for easy and thorough cleaning- I am amazed at how sharp these are. Obviously, my old kitchen scissors were more dull than I realized. I just wish Joseph Joseph would embrace some color other than this drab shade of green. Truth be told, green isn't a color I am particularly fond of- but their green is extra unappealing. If the quality wasn't there, I wouldn't still be buying their products.

Great scissors. Plenty of power and easy to use AND they come apart for thorough cleaning which is so important for the kitchen.

I like the weight of these . Very strong. I like that I can use both hands if needed. They also work pretty good on small packages.Cut a wire with it. No problem.I like that the finger holes are a good size for me. I do have petite hands.

my favorite kitchen scissors

I have a number of Joseph and Joseph items. This one isn't a favorite. They feel a little stiff. Like these, I have some similar,that also come apart for better cleaning and I actually like them better. I don't think I would be in such a hurry to replace my kitchen shears without having a chance to maybe try them in a store.

I freaking love these scissors. They’re almost scary how sharp they are. And the way they come apart and how easy they are to put back together is so nice for cleaning. The germs can’t stay between the blades like regular scissors. I’ve used them for almost a year now I think? I’ve noticed some dulling but it’s because I’m merciless with them, and I know it. I don’t put them in the dishwasher but I do cut through things that normal scissors wouldn’t be able to slice through.

I love these scissors. My second pair as I use them so much I don’t clean them fast enough! I quickly cut my pizza, deli meat for salads, smaller herbs, food packages, and flower stems.

Nice quality scissors and I love that they pull apart for easy cleaning. I've used them exclusively in the kitchen. Sometimes I cut up fruit like strawberries with them. They work nicely.

The reason why I buy this is because my current one is not sharp enough. And true enough according to those earlier reviews, its indeed very sharp. Not forgetting the ergonomic grip too. Happy with it...cheers!

I've had these on my watch-list for a while. I have a few items from Joseph Joseph and just needed to replace a pair of kitchen/household scissors so I put these in my shopping basket. These are expensive but they are worth it. I love the little whole for shredding herbs such as Thyme, it really works! I love the fact that the blades are detachable so that they can come apart for easy cleaning either by hand or in the dishwasher. My husband is left handed and can use these easily and also the finger grips are a generous size and comfortable to use. I love the colour - a lively splash of colour in the drawer so I always know what to reach for. Very sturdy, good quality and very happy with them.

Très bons ciseaux de cuisine, qui peuvent se séparer en deux parties pour un nettoyage facilité approfondi : grâce à une petite clé à l’arrière qu’il faut mettre dans 1 sens et dans l’autre pour bloquer les ciseaux ! (ils ne sont pas cassés, comme j’ai pu le lire dans 1 commentaire) ! La coupe est parfaite, pour le moment car mon acquisition est récente ! J’ai acheté un certain nombre d’articles de cette marque , au fur et mesure, pour leur côté pratique ! Leurs prix étant assez élevés ! Mes spatules silicone de cuisine et leur support achetées, il y plus de 3 ans, sont toujours nickel en servant tous les jours, plusieurs fois ! J’ai, d’ailleurs pu coller le support là où ça me convenait ! Mes boites de conservation avec couvercles empilables sont très bien sauf pour congeler des aliments à la tomate fait maison : là, la matière se teinte ! En règle générale, je suis plutôt satisfaite des produits de cette marque ! 😁
