Australian Sandalwood Solid Fragrance

I have received positive comments from three people in first two days of using this product, all of them wanted to know what I was fragrance I was using and what was the name of the product. It was kinda embarrassing to be honest, but kind of cool.I have seen comments about longevity, it seems to very long lasting and more importantly, pleasant scent.

The product smells good, and it arrived quickly. I don’t think it’ll be to “go to” smell I was hoping for, however. It’s so strong that you have to be very careful when applying or you’ll overpower the room. Then, it wears off pretty quickly. The sweet spot in which you’re not offensively strong-smelling, but you still have a bit of scent left is hard to find.The smell is clean, sweet, gender neutral.

I've normally just used spray on colognes but I was interested in this scent because a good friend had it on and I enjoyed the scent. The concept is that you put a small amount in the normal places(pulse points) and then the scent is released in different ways as it reacts to your body heat and chemistry. Innovative idea and it really works well. The scent is masculine but not overpowering and the tin fits easily in your pocket,travel bag or car . Delivery was superfast. Highly Recommended.Will purchase again!!

I was totally excited by the reviews that this was super hippy stinky. I’ve been on lookout for a true sandalwood solid perfume. What a malodorous mistake.This has a faint whiff of sandalwood when you very first apply and then devolves into a scent that is most reminiscent of the cologne you buy at Walgreens on Christmas Eve when your mom tells you that one uncle is coming and you have to get him a gift. You don’t care how badly it stinks because he’ll be lucky to get 60 seconds conversation out of you (30 seconds depending on how drunk he is when he arrives).The worst part is how very long lasting the cheap aftershave stench is. Multiple rounds of soap and water—and several hours later—I stopped being embarrassed to get within a few feet of my colleagues. If you’re looking for a genuine and natural sandalwood solid, click right past this fragrance disaster. If you want to smell like knockoff Jovan musk, hit me up….

Let me start by saying this is my first Solid Cologne so my review is based on cologne in general and not particularly related to other solids.Price:The price is what prodded me to try my first solid cologne. It's a small fraction the price of the fragrance I normally wear and I decided that even if it was a bust, it was too good a price to not at least give it a try.Smell:The fragrance is really nice. It wasn't quite what I expected when I thought "Sandalwood", but as some others have pointed out it is Australian Sandalwood and there is a difference. It's earthy and has a bit of what you would expect from regular sandalwood, but this a almost a bit more spicy. Be aware, the fragrance goes on strong but quickly becomes pretty subtle, and if you're used to sprays, this may be a bit underwhelming shortly after the application. Honestly I enjoy the scent just a much, it's just something new.Packaging:Pretty nice little tin. Simple, compact, gets the job done. No complaints.Longevity:Here's where I was disappointed. The scent does not last long. As I already said, it starts strong but quickly becomes a very subtle scent. After about 2 hours there is little to no trace left of this unless you put nose to skin. I'm a strong believer that I only want people who are in my personal bubble to get a whiff of my cologne, but I can't even get a whiff when trying to after that time frame. I tried putting on a bit more than the first few times and it was little help. I wish it had a more lasting scent. I'm curious if this is an issue with all solid fragrances as this is my first, but now am hesitant to try another.Overall:Not bad, not great. Hard to complain for the price. Would I buy it again? It would honestly be a coin toss. I really enjoy the scent, but if it's gone after a couple hours, then it really serves no purpose. Some people suggest carrying the tin with you, but I just find that inconvenient. Living in a sub tropical climate, I see what happens to Carmex left in my pocket and I wouldn't want that with a tin of fragrance that is much more expensive.

amazing product for a great price. the smell has some flower undertones to it but still masculine. the smell is strong but not overpowering. the consistency is very good. not too hard, soft enough to apply a good amount. the smell is noticeable for a half hour or so then fades a little bit. i find i have to reapply every three hours or so which isn't bad for a solid cologne. great product, worth the money as a starter to solid colognes.

Bought this for my sister. She loves it! It isn’t as spicy of a scent as I would’ve liked, but she appreciates the nuance. She uses it on her neck and wrists, and it lasts a couple of hours. Great product.

The scent is not what I would call typical sandalwood. It's not bad, just not what I was expecting or looking for.
