316L Black Stainless Steel Spinner Ring

Well, what to say about this particular ring?Being two rings, as it is, but that is the principle of this product, so no complaining about it. That was written in the ad.The inner ring rotates about the outer ring, its or their measurements are as described. And both compartments are black as night. So no complaints here either.But i give you two things to consider: first, this ring-ensamble is not as weighty, as it looks, so if you where looking for a fancy, nicely black and twisting light-weight ring-construction, buy this one! Second: they are "Made in China", so who knows, what freaky stuff lurks beneath the surface.If you where looking for all that and some heavy rings, as implied by the picture, search further...All in all, they came at the last day of the delivery-timeframe, and they where less than I expected, but that might be mine own fault, hence I might have misinterpreted the product-discription, or did just not read enough of it.They behave and function as desribed, it was a personal disappointment nonetheless...

I've put this ring through a lot of wear and it's held up fantastically. I've worn it almost every day for two years (update: now 6+ years, and in the 4 yrs since I last reviewed, it’s still holding up exactly the same), and it still spins well. I've even forgotten about it and gotten sand stuck in it wearing it to the beach (multiple times over multiple years), and after some rinsing and a little time it went back to normal. The matte center band (which was a stylish highlight when new) is no longer matte, and shows some silver along the edge and some tiny scratches when viewed up close, but considering the wear and the time I really can't complain, and still looks very nice. It isn't as bulky as a lot of spinner rings and spins quietly (if not silently) and freely, which makes it a fairly unobtrusive aid for any sort of restlessness or focus issues.

This has lasted 2 years of wearing it and fidgeting with it almost every day! Occasionally it will get dirty and not spin as smoothly, but I've found just keeping the ring on when I wash my hands normally is enough to keep it clean (rather than trying to scrub the inside of the ring by itself). It has gotten a bit scratched up over time and as a result is not as dark black as it was when I first got it, but that's the only sign of wear - it hasn't broken, it hasn't stopped spinning smoothly, the color has not come off on my skin.The ring does make a sound when it spins. It's a pretty quiet jingly/swishy noise? Not sure how to describe it. I find it pleasant, actually, but it could potentially be a problem in a quiet, serious environment.

I was not let down by this ring. The ring is comfortable and true to size. The blacks on both the glossy ring and satin outer band are very deep. The quality is great; it survived my daily and heavy use for nearly a year, resulting in very noticeable scratching, but no functionality issues.. Of course the main feature of this ring is the ability to have a spinning outer band, which I found myself fiddling with more than I anticipated. .As other reviewers have pointed out, it does jingle slightly when you move your hand about. Overall, this is a great value.

I was looking for a simple yet attractive black ring when I stumbled upon this one. It arrived fairly quickly (3-5 days) and I slipped it on immediately. It looks just as pictured: the outer edges of the ring are highly polished and reflect light while the center band, which spins, is dark and smooth, creating an appealing contrast between the two features. The spinning band gives you something to fiddle around with while listening to your professor lecture. Keep in mind that, as previously stated, it makes a clicking noise/jingles when you shake your hand; something that I personally don't mind but that others may dislike. With it being made of stainless steel, I feel pretty confident that it will last. But in all honesty, the real selling point for me was the price. Most other inexpensive rings start at more than twice the price of this one. For a mere 6 dollars, I almost feel like a thief.

I got mine for about $10 and it's probably one of the best purchases I've made for a long time. It does make a bit of noise, but for me that's part of the experience. I've had this ring for a few months now, and the black on the outer band has gotten a bit scratched up, but I think that gives it character. I've washed my hands with it (not sure if I'm not supposed to do that?) and it still spins as freely as it ever did. It's great for fiddling and has really helped me stop destroying things with my active hands.

I love it. Just some physical traits to note for you: it makes subtle clinking sounds when you move with it, as the spinning insert is not maximally flush with the main ring. I personally don't mind. Also, the entire ring is slightly more reflective than the picture suggests. It's not a matte finish. Lastly, it will temporarily not spin freely after it has gotten wet; after an hour it dries and goes back to normal. Sizing is true.
