How long is the 6-7 year old cape?

I took the advice to size up 2 sizes. My daughter wears a 4/5 and I bought the 6/7. It came to just above the knee. If you need longer I would buy 3 sizes bigger. Hope that helps

It is a tie closure sewn from the same fabric as the cape. I ordered a 8-9 year old size. It measures 29 inches from the neck to the hem. I would definitely order a larger size than the child’s age if you want it long.

Will this be good to keep my child warm for trick or treating or is it just for show?

My daughter takes hers off after a while because she gets too hot in it. So as long as you’re just needing a light jacket then I think this would help keep her warm.

What is the length from neck to hem for the 8-9 and 6-7 sizes?

There is no size in mine & I don't remember what size I ordered unless it was 1 size fits all. It has a tag at the neck that says 130. I have the pink one. It is 28 inches from the neck to hem.
