Off hand i forget. Its like a gallon and a half. You fill it to just under the water jets. Dont go nutts worrying about ph at this stage. Just be sure to use the clonex properly. Dont rush. Give each clone a full minute in the clonex gel b4 putting it in the pots. Add your clonex solution to the reservoir b4 adding clones. Keep machine running while potting clones. It comes with one extra pot so you can run it without spraying all over the place.

How long should it take for roots to appear.

Depends on plants you clone and everything else, roots can appear 3-5 days, thanks.
