The book is OK interesting takes on cards but it is on a very basic level. Would suit beginners more than seasoned readers. Somebody else may enjoy the book but sadly it was not for me.You'll find a few unique spreads to use with cards (this book did not come with cards), the meanings of the suits, and the authors unique take on each card. This tarot deck is pretty much an exact copy of the original rws deck. The main difference is that the images appear to be cgi images with actual photos of peoples faces photoshoped onto the characters (quite crudely in some cases). I have added some pictures comparing this deck to the rws deck. I find having photos detracts from the deck because I find myself being distracted wondering who the people are rather than concentrating on the cards meaning. On the plus side it is a complete 78 card deck with standard sized cards ie 70mmX120mm. The card stock is slightly thinner than normal and probably wouldn't stand up to a lot of abuse but I would expect this deck to be a starter deck that would be up graded after a short time. It also has the card meanings printed on it so no need for referring to the book constantly. The back of the cards has quite an attractive yellow moon and stars design although I don't like the fact it you can tell if cards are reversed.
