My sons' love these mattress covers and one fact that helps is that they do not have the crunchy plastic sound. Overall, they do their job and block everything from getting to the mattress. Whether a spill or they wake up with the sheets wet, problem solved. Mattress protected and the rest can be washed. :)

Noisy and "crinkly" sounding when on the mattress but it worked perfect for my needs. I only bought this as a way to protect my mattress from moving it to another apartment. I took it off once I got to my new place so I can't tell you if it was still noisy after sheets are put on.

Good soft covers but you can rip them if pulling to hard installing them so be careful. They are not noisy and plastic and dont smell.

This material was really cheap. Add a few extra dollars and get the higher quality brand.

It fits pretty well, doesn't make too much noise and doesn't retain heat terribly. I hope it takes care of the bugs, can't say it did that for a few more months.

Well, it might not be plastic, but it is paper. If you have bed bugs you really do not want this cover, it is going back.
