ClearPlay Blu-ray Player with Three-Year Membership

I've found that with the streaming service, the movies aren't actually included - you have to still own or rent them on Google Play, but ClearPlay will filter them after that if you play them through the ClearPlay streaming player.Some words are missed, or are only half cut off, but overall, I'm pretty impressed.Call ClearPlay if you want to buy the Blu-ray player. They will give you the best deal you can get. I plan to get mine soon, as all I have tried is the streaming version.

This was a old Blu-ray player. That did not clear play like it was supposed to. This product also keeps turning off. Clearplay is a good company this was just a bad clear player sold by a third party seller.

Good idea but the one we got was missing the remote and it only came with a 1yr membership even though the description still says 3yr membership included. Returning for refund. If you buy from ClearPlay, it comes with the 3yr membership and it's $100 cheaper.

It has been great watching movies with the family without all the extra junk.

Very disappointed with the ClearPlay Blu-Ray Player. We had been looking forward to it, but found two things that were particularly frustrating.First, there are absolutely no details regarding the filter levels. I don't want to edit out too much, but I don't know what level of settings filter out various items. It would be helpful if the filter setting told you what types of things it filters out. (Words/content, etc)Second, the sound quality is awful. We normally watch our TV with the volume set at about 35/100. Even with the Clear Play player volume at 100, we still need to set our TV volume to at least 85/100 to watch anything.

Ours worked fine, but within a month had glitching issues playing some disks. We ended up returning it to Amazon, but did order another in the hopes it will work better.

We have been Clear Play members for years. The filters work great, and make so many movies family friendly. One example is Anchor Man. I would not enjoy watching that movie with my family, but Clear Play takes out the offensive material and you're left with a movie that is childish but still pretty funny. Another example is Silver Linings Playbook. I absolutely love that movie, but I am not particularly fond of the f word. So even though it doesn't become a movie to watch with the whole family, it becomes one that I enjoy on my own or with my older kids. We've watched all seasons of The Office, and after watching some unfiltered episodes I can say that, for me, Michael would be intolerable without the filters, and Todd would be completely unwatchable. I can't say how much I appreciate having this service available. It's great that they have this Blu-Ray player available now. Before this came out, we only bought Blu-Ray movies that wouldn't need a filter. Great product!

It Brought everyone together to watch great movies, with our decisions as to what settings/ratings were appropriate for different age groups. We have had a membership for many years and it has made more current movies accessible so the kids are happy!
