Bamboo wood should NOT be cleaned using the dishwasher. Rinse your board thoroughly. * Cutting boards can be dried by placing it upright for a few hours. Make sure it is completely dry before storing so it cannot build up mold or bacteria. * Never leave food on the cutting board or leave the board soaking in water for extended periods of time. Bamboo is quite absorbent, drawing in liquids and odors. * While bamboo is an enduring wood, we suggest oiling your boards every few months. Splintered edges
Got this for my boyfriend for his birthday. Really nice looking but the edges are splintered so we decided to not use it as an actual chopping block because it will give us splinters.
