Fantastic
This is just awesome! I have a hotspot plan with my carrier for my Windows computer and it is very slow. I can stream movies and browse the Web but sites with a lot of graphics take a long time to load. This WiFi single allows me to connect my phone to a TV or monitor and use my much faster LTE. I think my carrier slows down hotspots because they don't want people to bog down their network with people using their computers to download a lot of files. This is also wireless but casts my phone's screen to a larger display, TV or monitor. It's transparent to the carrier, they think you are just using your phone and 4g LTE to surf, but it is at your carriers fast LTTE speed. I can still download files for my computer to my phones memory and then transfer them to my computer with a thumb drive. What took several hours to download using my phone as a hotspot now takes minutes. The dongle is well made and the instructions are detailed. Great product!

Too slow /
This was going to be used on a conference room TV to allow staff to extend screens from their Windows laptops to a large TV. Setup was actually easy, updating firmware was also very easy, and extending the laptop to the TV was easy as well. The issue was only in the performance. Once the TV was the 2nd monitor and you moved the mouse to it, the mouse was incredibly erratic and could take up to 20 seconds or more to move to the correct location. It was basically unusable. Might be fine for displaying static items like pics if you can avoid bringing the mouse on screen. I also tried it on a brand new LG 75" TV and got the same results. Also, a separate item, when you start the device it has an advertising screen that appears on the TV every time. There is nothing really wrong with it, except it looks "cheesy" in a professional office environment. There should be a setting to disable it after you have configured it.

Supplies its own wifi
Bought this because when I visit some locations there is no wifi to connect to for my presentation. This device plugs into a blg screen TV and sends out a wifi that can be detected and paired with my laptop.

Waste of money DON'T BUY!!
Total waste of money. Worked for a second then the wifi signal is gone. Plus the instructions mentioned there was a light. The product that arrived didn't!!!
