Awesome Fan! Decorative and Functional!!
Pretty neat fan all around! Being in the electrical trade I hadn’t been exposed to such a neat fan. Puts out an amazing amount of air and quiet. Friends and family had no idea it was a fan!

Looks great.
I love the way the fixture looks, but it was a royal pain to install. The screws said to be included were not and the instructions leave out important information about how to put it together. Thankfully, my husband is an excellent handyman and got it installed for me.

3½ stars... Read cons!
If half stars were an option, I would give this a 3½. I'm giving it 4 stars over 3 because it is decent looking, puts out good light, and puts out great air. That's what you want out of a ceiling fan... But it comes with its challenges.Pros:1) It puts out great air!2) It is nice and bright (almost too bright and not dimmable, but I'll leave this as a "pro".Cons:1) No instructions for installation! NONE!2) Only 2 wire nuts included--you need a total of 8.3) The light cover is plastic and cheap...4) Part of the decorative metal came bent.5) The mounting bracket doesn't fit a standard fan j-box! (This would be nice to inform your buyers of ahead of time!)6) As others have said, you have to cycle the light on and off repeatedly to get to the lighting "color" you want. It seems to start with a bright white, then you have a warm yellow, followed by a neutral--which I prefer.7) It wobbles a bit on high and I have some additional pieces... Could one of these help balance it? Maybe... But see Con #1 for why I have no idea what these parts are intended for!

This is the coolest, we love it
We used over our dining room table. It's perfect and goes with our decor. The retractable fan is very cool, and is just what we wanted. We love it.

Worst Fan install I have ever had to do!
To start off, there was no instructions for the installation of this fan. Now I have put up alot of fans in my day, so I proceeded without instructions at my own risk. Below are the issues with installing this fan1. You will need attic access to install this fan, as the remote box will not fit in any conventional ceiling mounted box.2. This fan will not mount to a smaller ceiling box, you must have a 4" x 4" box for it to mount properly, but I made it work by drilling new holes in the ceiling fan mount.3. No instructions.4. The keyholes cut for the light to slide over the screws, to twist light then tighten screws, will not fit over the screw heads. Hence you must remove all the screws completely from the bottom of the fan, insert screw thru light fixture, and bottom fan cover, and reinstall screws blindly back to where they go into the fan screw holes. You will not be able to have any visual reference while doing this, so you are warned it will be time and patience consuming.5. The wires for the remote control device you have to mount in the ceiling, have pretty short wires, so you may need to extend them to get back to the fan.The good news:1.Daughter loves the fan2. It works.3. the light is pretty bright.

Unique look
The blades are out of sight, giving this fixture a more elegant look than a traditional ceiling fan. It puts out a great airflow as well.

Fan-tastic !
Cannot even tell it's a fan when turned off due to the retractable blades. Great airflow when on. Light is bright, very bright.
