Spracht BluNote Pro Portable 5-Watt Wireless Bluetooth Conference Call Speaker

Just got my Blunote+CHAT which I see won an innovation award so I thought I’d give it a shot. It has a nice design and I like the touch panel buttons. It paired easily with my iphone and plays music at a decent sound level given its size. I will not be replacing my Bose sound-system with this – but for music in the bathroom or the kitchen, its fine..Then, I see why it is called a “chat product.” I received a call and the unit rang like a phone.. And what was really cool is that my friends number scrolled on the little LED display so I knew who it was.. I then clicked on the answer button and had a nice call and the person on the far end didn’t even know I was on a speakerphone. After the call ended, the music I was listening to then came back on.Finally, I also saw that they have an iOS APP on the istore.. I downloaded it, chose the custom spracht setting and then, the music seemed about 25% louder and really enhanced the music sound quality. Given all the functionality and features this product has along with the app, this is a cool product..

I got this with high hopes based on the reviews. The speaker itself is great. That's the only thing.When we tried using this with the auxiliary cable, the person on the other end would hear an echo. The microphone isn't that great and picked up a lot of other noise. We were only using this as a conference speaker, and it's just not good for it. Plus, the bluetooth pairing is finicky. It will pair with some devices but not others and then it is hard to unpair.The 'buttons' are flat, so you don't know if you are pressing hard enough that it registers or if you are pressing anything at all. I wish I could return it, but it took too long for me to figure out that this was not the best, and I couldn't return it. Lame.Now I just have a portable speaker, which is something I didn't need in the first place.

I needed the ability to phone conference from venues without a land line. This unit has a long lasting rechargeable battery. It is easy to connect to a cellphone via Bluetooth. The sound is loud and clear enough for all in the room to hear. The remote caller can also hear those in the room.As a Bluetooth speaker for music, it is adequate. It doesn't deliver high quality sound as you might hear from a Dolby unit. The sound is good, not exceptional. The ability to adjust sound is limited.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Very nice and compact speaker but it definitely falls flat in sound quality.Positives are the length of time it plays on a charge, over 4 hours of continuous play. Also handy is the speakerphone capability.Negatives are difficulty with Bluetooth pairing and the sound quality (minimal bass wen with the bass boost and Bongiovi DPS application activated).If I had to buy it again I would have saved my $$ and bought a Bose or Jawbone.

It hooks up to any bluetooth source with no problem. The sound is kinda weak for this price. It looks good.

Speaker looks good but has poorer sound quality than the laptop speakers that it was bought to replace. The speaker is portable but speaking as a frequent traveler, it is not compact enough to carry easily. There is no protective casing to save the speaker from the abuse it would take in a backpack or suitcase. I did not get a chance to try out the phone features.

I like the rechargeable batteries but everything else is just so-so. Bluetooth is a good option but distance from the source stinks. To have a good connection you may as well lay your iPhone next to the unit. And the sound.....not much better than my iPhone's sound. So for the $50 I paid on a lighting deal......would not do it again. And that's one man's opinion!Update on earlier review: Now, with me laying my iPhone on top of unit, it still cuts out. Make listening impossible without feeling like throwing this thing out the window. Totally a rip off.

The device is good, but the sound is too low. I can't hear the person coming through well when I have a meeting going on.

Cheaply made, poor sound, and stopped working after second use. Cheap plastic. Returned and Bought Anker for less money and way better quality. Buyer beware of this product.

Not 100% pleased. I think the package had been opened and repacked. There was no amazon paperwork in the box. Very little volume; sounds like a "3" volume setting out of "10"

Very poor sound. Device looks very tacky and the product does not look like a 21st century product. Does not support USB charging.
