Perfect for my garage mancave!!
Packaging was perfect and it even had some dings on it but the integrity of the actual table box was intact. It has double box and MDF packaging to hold it very secure. I have a small impact with allen head socket set that made assembly a breeze. I also added wood glue to the smaller screws that fasten i to the particle board to make it more secure and sturdy. Its perfect for the price! Some negatives are the bumpers are a little stiff the provided cue balls are very cheap so I purchased a separate better set, the pool cues are terribly warped so I also bought a set of 6 that are much better. I didn't even think they would be included but it comes ready to play out of the box! I was originally looking at much more expensive tables but this was perfect and I saved enough that it allowed me to also purchase an air hockey table also!!

Great product!!
To be honest, after reading the negative reviews on this product I was a little skeptical about buying it, but once it arrived and I put it together, all I say is that the majority of the negative reviews are a joke! I bought this pool table in cyber Monday for $400 and it was super easy to put together, I don’t know why some people are having trouble “lining it up” or saying “it’s cheap” it’s actually decent quality and very sturdy. Yes the legs are plastic but it’s supported by a solid wood piece, yes the rails aren’t good but after you break it in, it’s works perfectly. Some of you people couldn’t put together a paper airplane if your life depended on it, I am no expert by any means necessary, just an average joe who can follow directions and has patience.

Absolutely terrible delivery & shipping
This product was delivered by XPO. I proactively chatted with them to describe the entrance and delivery situation to be sure they had the proper equipment. I was assured by their rep "no worries". They did call ahead on the appointed day. It was 2 delivery people in a box truck with about a 4 foot drop out the back. I asked them how they would move it and they told me "It's big and heavy." They had no idea how to handle it. There was no drop gate on the truck. I went to get a hand truck from my garage and when I came back, it had been slid off the truck onto one smashed corner. I helped them load it onto the hand truck and did the majority of the heavy work to get it into the "inside entrance" delivery per the Amazon order. Per instructions from Amazon I opened it to check for damage. The frame was broken on both ends, the bumper was separated, the felt was torn. I said, "Take it back." They said they could not because it had been opened! I had to go through Amazon's return processing. This required another couple weeks to set up a pick-up time. Another carrier picked it up. They had a lift gate. All went well. Then I had to wait a few more weeks for my credit. I called Amazon and they credited me over the phone. So the indoor winter months are passing without a pool table. Rather than go through this again as a "Reorder" I purchased a used table. The original delivery people watched me open the box to review the damage and all they could do was ask if I wanted to pay them for assembly. This was not part of the Amazon order, but was something these two wanted as a cash transaction. Amazon can deliver a lot of products, but they don't seem to have carriers vetted to deliver large items.

What you would expect for the price
First off, this is the cheapest “large” pool table on Amazon. Don’t expect it to be professional grade. I went back and forth on whether I should buy a used slate table (and pay the price of the table again to get it moved and set up in my house) or something cheap and cheerful - and went with the latter option as I have young kids. I think this table will serve it’s purpose for a few years, and likely will then need to be thrown away. As far as I have understood from other reviews, you’ll never be able to replace the felt, so once that’s gone, the table is scrap. All this being said, the quality is a little better than I expected, and the table looks nice. Table arrived well packaged and with no damage, but with a tiny spot of glue on the cloth - a bit annoying, but not impacted play so far. I had no issues setting it up 95% myself (eventually will need another person to help you lift the table top onto the base. Took me about 2.5 hours to set up. Nothing was damaged, and all the holes lined up fine. A few screws to attach the plastic leg covers to the wooden legs could have done with guide holes to hold the screw in place for screwing in (so I drilled some myself), but otherwise all was easy and well explained in the instructions. Hardest part is levelling it, but somehow I lucked out after I gave up trying for 20 mins and it seems to now be level (according to my iPhone). I’ve only had it for a day so far, and here are my initial thoughts on playing on this table: 1) The supplied cues are rubbish. They are not straight and have terrible tips on them. Throw them out and get a couple of decent cues so you can enjoy the game. Luckily I already have one. 2) I got the beige cloth, and it is a little darker than I was expecting it to be, but plays well enough. The balls run pretty well, but not super fast. 3) The pockets are very wide and forgiving, making it a very easy table to play on (maybe a bit too easy, as it is making me look like a pro…) 4) The cushions are terrible and don’t offer enough bounce. I would say these are the real let-down of this table, and I would otherwise have considered rating it 5 stars (vs expectations for the price). You end up having to hit the ball far harder than you normally would to try to get enough bounce to get into the position you want. Overall, this table does the job and is fun to play on at home. I would have preferred to have paid no more than $350 for it, rather than $500+, but it is what it is. Whether or not I should have spent the extra to get a decent used slate table - time will tell… A slate will definitely have more re-sale and/or re-furbishment potential down the line.

Good times with friends an family
Bought this model Pool table 15 years ago not expecting to much on quality or longevity but very pleased shooting it very regularly for 8 years until I sold my house and gave it away. I always hoped I could have a house again and get a small pool table to shoot. I just purchased this one again and they have made a few upgrades which help but they took away the real leather pockets which is kind of a bummer but all and all I think it's still a good buy for the price. It's no professional table by any means but fun 7 ft table to hit a few balls. Pleased in the packaging with multiple box layers with foam. I was struggling getting it into my basement where I had to force it at times through tight quarters. Outer box was damaged in a few spots where I figured I would have to deal with it but when I opened it there wasn't a scratch.

Not "ready to play" when pieces are missing
The table was fairly easy to assemble for 2 people, however, 3 people would have been ideal for lifting the assembled larger bits together. It leveled pretty well and easily. It is actually better lookig than I had originally thought. My biggest complaint was the pool cues promised, were not in the box. The rack, the balls, chalk were all there. It promises to be ready to play out of the box and what was intended to be an early Father's Day present that my husband would be able to play when he got home that day, ended up being a waiting game. We have to buy the cues. I guess I could have returned it, but I paid to have it delivered into the room and the simple weight and hassle of getting it in the house really has kept me from going that route. I do feel as if I am still owed the cue sticks I was promised in the box, but short of returning it I am at a loss as to what to do there. Everything in the instructions said to return if there were pieces missing. REALLY, there has to be a better option. We were also short a screw for a decorative piece. Since it was joust meant to secure the decorative plastic piece in place, again, this was not a make or break moment, the piece is secure enough with the one screw. So as for complaints, those are really it. I did appreciate the fact the pool table was contained in its own box and then had a secondary "support for shipping" box with wooden supports on the frame. (The planks of wood in the video are from the exterior box) The Prime delivery agents discovered a securing strap had broken and caused this to fall on many other packages and I am convinced the outer box was part of the reason there was no damage to the table. (Got to see a glimps of how Prime delivery people treat packages as when they were inspecting the other boxes that were smooshed by my table, they saw they were okay and proceeded to simply just "yeet" the boxes to the other side of the truck.) The table once assembled is a bit wobbly, but for the price it will suit our needs for the moment. If this gets the use I suspect it will, I imagine we will upgrade to a slate top later. I will add a video once we have purchased cues for it (or heard from the company they will send cues).

Don’t hesitate
I was skeptical but most bad reviews are due to shipping damage That can happen to anything. It’s absolutely cheaper materials so you don’t get slate slab or had wood trim. But for the money it’s a no brainer. All my billiard friends are stunned on what it costs. I was surprised to see it came with sticks balls and rack and chalk. But if this is your budget like me definitely don’t hesitate. As far as table it’s we’ll worth it. Shipping is out of our control but mine like most others was fine. Only other suggestion is make sure you have a a friend or two. Unlike me who thought cheap means light weight that is far from the case. This thing is heavy!! Which is good! Just get it already!

Great value for the money!!!
I purchased this table for my apartment and it fits the space perfectly... there was some damage to the underside of the playing surface that I simply repaired with some wood glue and clamps but nothing major. Happened during shipping. This table does require assembly and comes with the tools needed. I was surprised that the legs were plastic on outside but looks really good once assembled. Overall this is a excellent table for the price $589 and free shipping. Pay the extra $20 for “room of choice” delivery. The table is heavy and took me and two delivery guys to take upstairs to my apartment. I’m very pleased with the end product... I would recommend this table for anyone on a budget!
