Sometimes there is a need to see multiple generations or branches that a computer screen/printer can't ligibly produce. This allows me to fill that need. It can be awkward to fill-out if you don't have a large work area. The back-side, where you have generations 10-15, starts getting confusing and difficult to keep information straight. The space is limited and not good for more than names. Good tool for viwing the first 9 generations.

I needed a chart that would allow me to go back many generations and this one does. It does get confusing when you get up several generations but if you are careful you will get it correct.It s a good thing there are fig win a package because you may have to go back and do it over if you mess it up. I did find that I had to reinforce the holes so I could take it in and out of the binder. I just put a piece of clear tape over the holes so they wouldn't tear.

I thought I could fill these out in just an afternoon - I was so wrong. I had no idea why there was 10 in the pack. I thought I would give them to my siblings for them to fill out. I soon found out I need them all. My forefathers go on for more than 15 generations. some of them needed three sheets to go back far enough. It is a little overwhelming and I had to recruit help for family and friends.the numbering system the charts bring out is en-genius. It is so easy to give numbers to generations back as I worked on one line going back and back and back.

I give this four stars because the paper and printing are good. But like all other 15 generation charts to me this is disapointing. It only allows six generations to be filled out completely. After that you have only enough room for about a fourth the space needed. I realize to have a "real" 15 generation chart it would be massive, but, I think it is misleading to call this a "15 Generation Pedigree Chart.

I am using these but the first three or four generations are harder to view and keep straight as they are crowded on the left side. I've used another brand that was easier to keep straight but I color-coded the first generations so that really helped....and can get one more generation on this particular sheet. It is great to have a "map" to help when doing research and keeping family lines straight. I can't do without one an over-all chart.

These charts are fantastic for people who are lucky enough to chain back family for multiple generations. Wish I had found these sooner!

Arrived as described and in a timely manner. I am working on our family history. This is a practical way to keep track of what you find, especially when you start adding more and more generations to your chart. My family is from the Netherlands and I have been able to track them to the 1500's. I like the idea of having what I have learned on paper in case all my hard work in the computer is lost (like all my pictures from Italy when the flash drive I used went bad as well as the computer the pictures were stored on). Have fun learning about your history. Once you get started, you will be hooked!

I recently ordered this item for my mother, who realized her growing interest in family history meant she was about to need an additional "chart" for correctly situating a branch of our family history. I discovered the 10- and 15-generation charts from Stevenson via Amazon, and I decided to get the 15-generation version for her. The product arrived in fine condition within a few days, and it "fits the bill" for her perfectly. Thank you for making this item available via Amazon--I wasn't sure where else to turn--and the online genealogy search firms didn't appear to sell something of this nature (to my surprise!).
