Sterling Silver 20 Gauge Half-Hard Temper Round Wire - 5 Feet

I really like the fact that this is a domestic product (less fuel and other resources used for transport, as opposed to imported materials) AND that it's made of recycled silver. The mining of any metals generally degrades the environment of the mine, so I try to just upcycle materials as much as possible rather than buying new. When I do buy new, I buy recycled. So this is a good product, as it's made from 100% recycled sterling silver, and if I end up wanting more, I'll definitely buy it from this seller. I did buy the wrong hardness, but that's my own fault. I did a different project with this one, and will figure out which hardness I need for the project I originally intended this for.

This was a great price for the product BUT it is somehow much harder or thicker than the usual 20ga SS-filled HH round wire that I usually get from a vendor on Etsy. I don't know how that's possible but it's what I'm dealing with. I'll have to find a use for it as it doesn't work for wire wrapping jewelry for me.

The wire was perfect for what I needed, except instead of five feet I only received 3 feet. I should have said something, but really thought it was still enough for my project. It wasn't. Literally had two beads left, so I had to use another wire I had on hand. :-(
