The Labyrinth Tour: Live from The O2

I remember back in the day when "Bleeding Love" was constantly playing on the radio. I never knew who the artist was but I loved it. Then one day my daughter was in the car with me when this song played on the radio, asked her if she knew who sung this and she told me Leona Lewis. And that my friend I bought Leona's album. This DVD/CD combo is awesome, picture is very crisp and in widescreen. I'm always behind a couple of years on music products so when I found out that this was a concert DVD, I knew it was a must. Leona is so HOT and this hour and half DVD is great to just stare at her. My favorite songs of Leona has always been "Bleeding Love", "Take A Bow", "Run", "Better In Time", and of course Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams". Awesome to see that Leona sings them here. My only gripe about the DVD is that the bass is not played through the sub woofer on the 5.1 surround, instead it's coming out of the center speaker so you're not able to enjoy the phat beats of Leona's music. I switched it to 2.0 and it sounds just as good with the bass bumping correctly through the subs. It's not a big deal, overall this is a great DVD concert of the HOT Leona Lewis!

I loved the Labyrinth Tour video. It is great visually. The stage setting is unique. You get to see a new side of Leona. She needs to work on her dancing a little bit more, but it is her first major tour. I know she will get better in time (smile). I loved all of the outfits especially the thigh high boots. You go girl! As for the music being louder than her voice, when you sing live you have to take it down an octave or two. At least you know she CAN REALLY SING! Can't say that about too many artists these days. My friends and I have watched this DVD so much we may have to buy another set. Hope Leona will put out a new DVD of videos soon. PS> add some special features to the next one. I love her accent and think that she is a beautiful person inside and out.

I purchased this CD/DVD through Amazon.com and I loved the selections on the DVD and CD except for the track "These Dreams are made of this" and I'm not saying that I don't care for this track only because the Eurithmics version is the best. I just felt that Leona did not even attempt to sing this song. I mean, she had an opportunity to create her own version. One thing I continue to love about Leona is when she sings in her beautiful lower register even though a lot of people will be expecting her to sing like Mariah Carey used to sing. Me, I just love the emotion Leona puts into her songs instead of trying to outsing the next Mariah-Christina like voice.

WOW THIS IS JUST A PRETTY CONCERT WITH A PRETTY GIRL WHO CAN SING.I WHATCHED THIS WITH MY 10 YEAR OLD LITTLE GIRL AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING TOO SEXY THAT THE STAR MAY HAVE WORN OR SAID MISS LEWIS HAS CLASS AND SHE'S NOT A SIZE ZERO SHE HAS BEAUTIFUL LEGGS AND WEARS FUN COSTUMES HER DANCERS ,BACK GROUND SINGERS AND THE BAND ARE ALL AMAZIN.GOOD-CLEAN FUN JUST LIKE CELINE'S SHOW'S THANK YOU LEONA FOR REMEMBERING THOSE OF US WHO IN THIS DAY OF REALITY TRASH T.V. STILL HAVE CLASS!!!

The live show is quite a production with lights, video, and performers in fantasy costumes. Leona still has the emotional feelings and incredible vocal range she displayed in her early popular hits.

The tour it self is outstanding, Leona sings more perfect live than in recording, the special effects are great, there's a lot of entertainment. One thing I didn't like is that when i got the DVD it was slightly torn, I think it was a used one but I bought it at the price of a new one.

would have wanted to know the song list before purchase. otherwise, it was well recorded. Featured the songs that I wanted to hear. Would order again.

It's like she copied someone else's show. Nothing original about it. I like her voice and songs but was very disappointed with this.

Prior to seeing this Blu-Ray, I was fairly confident that Leona's vocals would be outstanding but I did have my doubts as to whether she would be visually entertaining in a live concert - whenever I have seen her sing on TV she has always seemed so much more comfortable standing still and concentrating on her voice. But, I couldn't have been more wrong in my prediction - this concert was amazing, both vocally and visually.The show opens to a scene reminiscent of an underground cave with pillars, upturned stones and plants winding their way around the stones. The lighting and smoke provides additional atmosphere. The stage darkens and a hooded figure slowly emerges from the back of the stage - Leona has arrived to huge screams and applause from the crowd.Throughout the concert the theatrics are imaginative, the scenery and props add ambience without being too obtrusive and the dancers are second to none. I played `Take a Bow' over and over again just to watch their energy and co-ordination. After that you think it can't get any better - but just wait until you see Leona singing whilst being pushed around the stage on a rope swing - it must have taken her a lot of nerve to do that as she is pushed fairly up fairly high above the stage - and not once does her voice falter.Leona has a number of costume changes throughout the performance. During two of them we are treated to videos of Leona which easily make you forget that you are waiting for her to reappear. `Ride a White Swan' is a delight to watch with Leona resplendent in a straight white wig and white costume, of course riding a large white (fake) swan. In the second video, `They Don't Care About Us', you will see Leona in a very different guise - I didn't recognise her for a second in her very tight figure hugging gear and perfectly straight hair. If you have ever had slightly naughty dreams about Leona then this is how I imagine she would appear in them.Leona does join in with the dancing during many of the songs - perhaps not as energetically as other pop stars, but she doesn't need to, the key to this concert is her amazing voice - beautiful and full of such emotion. During the concert she performs 18 live songs and two video clips. I didn't hear a single note out of place, not once.Throughout the concert there were many cut shots into the audience who were obviously enjoying the show. It was nice to see such a large age range represented, from young children to pensioners. It just goes to show the broad appeal of this young lady.If you like Leona and her music then this disk is absolutely worth getting.

This CD & DVD I was just blown away this was the best music live at the O2 & the dance moves as well was out of this world Leona was fantastic greatest bit of entertainment I have in my entire collection just loved every moment.
