Not what i expected. I thought they were clean. The had lots of what i call corn silk hair, dark spots, and where not as smooth . was hard to spread the masa "dough"

USE THESE FOR PERFECT TAMALES

Do not smell like chemicals. A lot of husks have that embalming fluid smell to them. These only have the faint odor. be sure to soak them well!!
