needs revised
no other book has covered any big bud tractor exclusively. kudos to mr. harvey for being the first. the graphics are less than impressive. the content reveals no more than a tableside discussion with the current owners and a few of the original creators of the 747. relationships were drawn with competitive equipment and current tractor offerings. this was interesting, but i already knew it was big. the 128 pages did not reveal any new information for the average (big bud) tractor fan. a few of the pages dated the book at 2005. it will never become the timeless study/reference that it could have been. gramatical errors went without editing.i was disappointed. i expected more. perhaps an exhaustive historical look at big bud including the 747. this is what i want. more historical photos. discussion and study of the componants that made the tractors. the tires, engines, transmissions, axles, etc. let us see the shop these were built in. let us see how they cut those thick sheets of metal in the 1970s. i want more than ron harmon droning behind a desk. i want more than the williams bros. telling us that it is really big! the big bud story is much more interesting. it is worthy of a book that will showcase the legend of the acre eating monsters that will not be dated by its publication date. please!!!!!!!!!!!
