Retired and wanted to learn welding. I bought a cheap flux core welder. The ground connection was the first item i replaced on my welder. This is a great replacement, strong and a good copper ground. I also bought a very good welding helmet, a must! This will get me started and as I progress I will upgrade my welder. Having a great time learning something new.

When doing small parts, it's a good idea to clamp the ground directly to the part(s) being welded. This little clamp is great for that. They has their own cable and are connected to my welding benches. It doesn't get in the way like the big clamp on my welders.

This will work well for my mig welder.

I am using therm as a ground for my portable antenna, they are working great.

This thing is super cheap. The copper backing almost instantly burnt up. You get what you pay for.
