MX-4 (45 g) - Premium Performance Thermal Paste for All Processors

This is a big boy of a already amazing product at 45 grams. I have been happy with using MX4 for a while. I have used many other brands, MX4 is my most common go back to product. I use it when replacing thermal compound on console system, GPU's, and CPU's as well as 3D printers. I do enough repairs and new builds that I thought I needed more than a dinky thermal compound tube I have to replace every few months. This is good, but there is a lot. Sometimes there is a tad bit of separation in even the small tubes, so if anyone wants to avoid the mess that causes, press a small amount onto a napkin/cleaning cloth to make sure it is consistent before application. 45 grams is a lot of thermal compound though, but MX4 is surprisingly shelf stable which is why I am ok getting it in bulk. Performance wise, it is one of the best and I will admit there are some better options, but the performance difference is often miniscule until you get to liquid metal which can have its' own list of problems once you bridge over to that. This is probably the best value though as it is roughly twice to three times the cost but you get five times the amount. I got it at a $20 cost and 8grams costs around 7 dollars.

Fantastic value. Great to have around for refurbishing laptops. I use this stuff on my own desktop computer and was happy to find an "industrial size". Can't recommend it enough for everyday mid-range processors. Makes older i5s and i7s totally usable in 2026, which I love since the average laptop's build quality just gets worse and worse as time goes on.

This is still the best thermal paste for the price. I've never had a problem using the MX-4. Love the fact that you can buy it in large amounts

J’utilise la MX-4 depuis des années et je n’ai jamais été déçu. Cette version 45 g est parfaite si on a plusieurs machines à entretenir ou si on aime en avoir sous la main. La pâte est facile à appliquer, ni trop épaisse ni trop liquide, et elle se répartit bien sans faire de bulles. Les performances sont au rendez-vous : sur mon PC de bureau, j’ai gagné entre 5 et 8 °C par rapport à la pâte d’origine, et les températures restent stables même en jeu ou en rendu vidéo. Elle est non conductrice d’électricité, donc aucun stress si on en met un peu trop. En plus, elle tient dans le temps : j’ai déjà vu des montages faits il y a plus de 5 ans qui fonctionnent encore nickel sans avoir eu besoin de refaire la pâte. Bref, un achat sûr, surtout dans ce conditionnement généreux.
