Danazoo Wet Pet Bed Mat, Grey

I had two problems with it. The mat snags easily. It is very heavy when wet and the cleaning instructions say to hang to dry.

We bought this to let our Doberman in from the back during the winter months. The mat is thick, really thick! It does hold water and snow just fine and washes well too. I found that drying on a low cycle and then hanging to dry completely help it hold its shape. It does come up off the floor and bunch in the corners occasionally but not all the time. Worth the price!

Will not dry outside, have to put in dryer.

Loved it so much I bought a second one. I originally bought this as a wet mat. When I unpacked it, my dog decided it was her new bed. I bought a second one since she loves laying on it.

It doesn't stay on the floor well. Someone can trip if they are not careful with the rug on a slick floor. It does okay on a carpet. I thought the dogs would like it. It doesn't stay well on the floor when the dogs are trying to sleep on it..

Love this mat! Washes and dries without any problem. Really wipes your dog's feet in very rainy weather. I only wish it was made in a larger size!

I purchased one of these mats when it was available as a lightning deal, and was satisfied enough to purchase a second one at full price a week later (same review is posted for this product in the black color; both items are identical besides color).These mats are excellent for preventing our dogs from tracking mud throughout the house. They trap a lot of dirt & mud, but you really need to place them such that your dog has to walk over it & put a lot of weight on the mat with all 4 paws. We placed our mat so that the dogs have to step on it any time they come through the doggy door. The mats have a fairly good non-slip backing, but depending on the size & quickness of your dog the mat can get moved out of place.The mats are quite soft & initially both our dogs wanted to chew on them as they have texture similar to a plush chew toy. A little bit of corrective action has prevented them from going after them any further.

I had a chance to test this mat during a snow storm with my two small dogs and my daughter's larger dog. It worked well as a soaker when the dogs walked across it, but it worked better when I had them stand stand on it while I wiped their feet. It soaked up enough water that I didn't have to work to dry their paws as much as usual. The only reason I'm not completely happy is because it seems too lightweight and soft to use as a doormat all the time. The backing on it isn't very heavy, although it grips enough to stay in place. It's helpful enough with absorbing the wet that I decided that it's worth picking up when it's not raining to save it. I also used it when we bathed my dog last week. I put him on the mat and toweled him off. It helped soak up that water, too.
